Yeah, I went back to the previous driver and all the artifacts stopped (Though Nvidia seems to have not fixed the yellow road issue in BF3 yet). 320 needs to be fixed asap.

I have the updated driver on 3 machines with a GTX680, 2 GTX670 FTWs in SLI and 2 GTX 660s in SLI respectively. I've be running Metro Last Light and COD BO II "hard" with no problems at all. None of the GPUs is OC'd.
P.S. I own both AMD and Nvidia cards and I'm NOT a member of either "advocacy" group:)

Sure it is, everyone should know every thing has issues from time to time. The scale and scope of said issues is the difference however.

There are two sides to every coin, the AMD haters point out all encompassing issues while the AMD lovers deny the existence of issues, no matter how trivial.

When you view things as you do you become engrossed in one side or the other, anyone from an objective standpoint would consider the issues and the evidence at hand instead of trying to say "Look, look, see!!! Dems have duh issues too!!! We not so bad noaw!".

Wrong, don't be putting words in my mouth. Much less the immature way you come across.

I don't view things other than with objectivity. It's hard to find that here, and your snide remarks are pretty pathetic.

What I said is highly relevant. Look around the forum.

Given the amount of evidence revealed so far, I would also blame aliens for killing video cards.
Personally, I have my doubts that this driver is killing cards as well unless a pattern can be established. ie - GPU, vendor, stepping, overclock, etc. But it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Don't forget that Nvidia has a bit of a history regarding dying video cards. The bumpgate GPU failures in which Nvidia blamed everybody else, including end users. But Nvidia was ultimately found to be fault. The 196.75 driver which shut down the cooling fan on cards and allowed them to severely overheat, killing quite a few. The 267.52 driver that was packaged with GTX590s that allowed the end user to instantly kill the card through overvolting.

I'm not saying that Nvidia is the culprit with this current situation. But I'm not saying that they aren't, either. I think we need more data.

Funny, but not really relevant.

(Might balance out the "Moar Cores lol" images though.)

Did any of you notice that the dude claiming this driver fried his card also states this is his 3rd Nvidia card to burn up? Yeah... so.. while I do think the 320.18 are utter crap I don't think card killing is a part of the code.

FYI I left AMD for Nvidia to get better drivers and the Irony is the 320.18 are horrible so I am on the 314.22 which seem to work OK.

I have this artifacting issue, I thought it was due to my gtx-670 overheating, its a fairly rare occurrence though.

Whats the best method to roll back?

Once in a while my display would go black for a second or two and then come back (while on desktop), and though rare, I believe it began with the previous drivers (whatever was beta before they became WHQL) so I'm back to 314.22 now.

On my GTX 460 Win7 64 every single driver newer than 314.22 WHQL is simply unusable, nvlddmkm crashes galore.

This is happening AGAIN? This happened in 2010 I know for sure http://www.zdnet.com/blog/hardware/warning-nvidia-196-75-drivers-can-kill-your-graphics-card/7551

and someone said this happened last year as well?? edit- found it, 2011-> http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=341316
I'm sorry for everyone who has had their cards damaged by this popping up again. Ridiculous. This is 2010, 2011 and 2013 if this case is proven.
I'm planning on building a new system when my Q9450 dies and the 770/780 are OFF my list, or any Nvidia product at this point. This is a pretty serious flaw.

I think we can all finally end the 'best drivers debate' once and for all and agree at this moment that AMD has won. Handily and without question.
The debate is over, for real.

I left Nvidia when I bought my 8800GTX due to terrible drivers and went AMD, haven't had a major problem yet and been using this 5870 since launch day. I use the card's features to the fullest, and did come across a few strange wake from sleep issues with my displayport monitor with some of the latest releases (I use 12.10 simply because there aren't many optimizations coming for the 5870s anymore and it works fine), but the card was never killed by a driver and I've tried them all.
I'd welcome you back to try a Radeon next time. They aren't perfect either, but I'm pretty sure after years with 3dfx, then Nvidia, now AMD that AMD is the best choice for a new video card.

what, your not buying an nvidia product???

WOW!!!! what a surprise!!!!

That is sooo interesting. Also i love your video is your sig.

On another note-
wouldnt it be cool if your words were so powerful that whatever you said manifested. No matter what you mouthed out it would turn real....Just like that.
yeah, then when you say: "The debate is over, for real.", AMD is the winner, F nvidia and all that- it would really mean something.

Until then maybe try to get over your nvidia hate and be happy.

What other driver can I roll back to if I have a GTX 780? Nothing else is on Nvidia's website under the 780 unless I hack some older titan driver.

Whoa. I dont hate Nvidia. I had trouble with their drivers back in the 8800GTX days, having moved to NV after 3dfx died. I have been considering the 780 for my next card though, you might not believe it but no one gives a damn. The video is just hilarious, NV's business practices and overall demeanor has also taken a downhill slide with their driver support since roughly the 8800GTX days.
I've spent more on Nvidia products than you ever have or will, including $900 for dual 6800GT's for SLI on launch day. Among every other release since the GF2 onward.

The driver debate is over, period. AMD has the best drivers as they might have occasional issues but they don't kill cards.

You seem a little mad.

The fanboy hate truly gets old because both AMD and Nvidia have great cards and issues at the same time. One is not better than the other and if someone tells you that, they are a fanboy IMO.

Its give and take. Some people like compute for mining etc, some people like PhysX. Buy the card that best suits your needs and don't worry about whiners :)

Just use the WHQL drivers like you do with AMD.
um these are WHQL drivers plus that does not mean crap. some of the worst drivers including the ones that let cards overheat were WHQL. and do you think all AMD WHQL drivers work fine? really you must not know much about drivers if you think WHQL actually means anything at all.
