I don't really think it makes sense to drop the 120 from the T34. The only reason the T34 was the T34 and NOT the T29 was because they stuck a 120 in the turret. I'm grinding away credits to rebuy the T34 in preparation for 7.2. I screwed up the German heavy tank split because I wasn't paying attention, so I'm not going to miss out this time. Fortunately, I'm one of those rare folks that enjoys playing my Lowe, so getting credits isn't really a grind, per se.
The autoloading French tanks are fascinating. Forget everything you learned about playing tanks, because it's a whole new play style. In the French light tanks, I can sit around the back of a pack or off to the sides minding my own business. I wait for an opportunity and charge in using my excellent speed and acceleration to get on top of the enemy. I'll typically drive along side a target at point blank range, unload all six rounds into their side and rear (often that's enough to kill them right there) and then accelerate away. The alpha from a full autoloader is just off the hook.
Last night, playing in a clan match on El Haluf our opponent stormed the water with 6 IS-7s at the start of the match. Three survived without damage and hunkered down there trying to earn a draw. I was in my T92 and had to go all the way to the north hill to get splash shots on them. At about 2 minutes remaining, the IS-7s had enough of my shelling and came out. My team was pushing on their cap and they could count our tanks, knowing there was just a single AMX-50b left in our base. They were all down to about 20% because of my constant splashing. Still they figured they only needed to burn 120 seconds for the draw.
The AMX was at the top of the hill waiting on them. He fired 3 shots in 10 seconds and killed all three IS-7s. Game over.
tl;dr: Autoloader rocks.
