Currently hating the light french line. So much research to get a gun that doesn't suck ass for the tier. And a combo of craptastics reload time along with taking forever to site in on your target. You could drive around at 100mph and it isn't going to matter if you much be touching chasis to get off a capable snap shot.

Lights aren't about shooting. They're for lighting, killing arty, and things like drawing fire.

Was just in a battle with an asshat who thought it was funny to keep running into me. Told him if he kept it up he would get a shell in the keister. Well, he kept it up, so I TK'd him and yet, I'm the one getting penalized.

WTF is this crap? He was intentionally ruining the game experience and running into me while I'm trying to play. I told him to stop and gave him the consequences of his actions if he kept it up. He kept it up, I made him stop, and I get banned?

Full on BS here. I opened a ticket as this can't be allowed to happen. What a bunch of crap.

In a tier IX match, and I do most damage on my team in my tier VII light tank and is one of the two tanks that actually bag some kills.

My one hour ban lasted 15 minutes. it was lifted and the admin said they would take appropriate action against the other guy. So.. who knows what they did if anything, but my suspension was lifted.

Just had a fun match on Sand River playing my Tiger II. We were on the attacking side, no artys so I positioned myself on the ridge overlooking the village/enemy base, and picked out enemies from the distance, with spotting scope and the nice 8.8cm gun. When there were less than 4 minutes left we had a overhand but not advanced much and some were complaining about a certain heavy tank 'camping'. It might be right, but I did +4K damage from the ridge without taking any damage, and after that I pushed and took out three of the remaining tanks with a total of 5 kills and +5K damage. It might be camping, but it was very efficient. 🙂

eh i would have had that 140 that killed me but during the fight, i did the server 720degree bullshit spin and ended up with my rear facing the 140, @ that point it was over
talk about the worst possible time for that to happen 🙁

Ha, wow I missed that. That has happened to me a few times but never actually when I was fighting someone luckily.

Why do you have the filters off? They are on by default, you had to of manually turned them on. So, your complaint is moot.

so i got the LTTB, it kind of reminds me of a poor mans t50-2. it has no gun depression and holy crap the aim time blows. i'm using optics/rammer/vents right now. i doubt a GLD will help at all. will be stuck grinding this for awhile as i have 0 crew skills right now since i just used the free 100% crew from the 8 bit winter tanks mode crew they gave us.

im kinda worried the t54 lightweight is gonna be a let down as it definitely won't be as fast or nimble as the LTTB already heh.

PS: you do have the good gun on it, don't you? If you don't you should free exp it. My advice below hinges on that fact. Otherwise you're just a m6 with no turret with less armor and hp and you can't expect to fight anything above your own tier.

If you can't pen the T34 he's hulled down and nothing less than tier 8+ guns can dig him out. Don't fight him. If his hull is exposed and you can't pen him you're doing something wrong.

IS3 - aim for lower glacis. If the T29 can pen it (it can) the T25 can as well. If he's angled towers you, aim for the flat side of the pike.

IS6 is tricky, driver hatch or the flat part of the lower glacis or better yet, run away. It's a tough fight, I'd run away and find someone more manageable. Let tier 8 heavies handle it.

Finally moved up to the 12t. Yeah back to a somewhat real tank again.

Funny part was that in my first game I was looking at it during the start sequence thinking if the turret was pointed in the other direction, it would look a lot more like the russian tank line. So I did a 180 traverse and started following a couple heavies in reverse.

Showing that some people play this game a whole lot, I was only about 20 seconds up the hill when some guy starts laughing on chat about me driving in reverse.

The T25AT has a huge weak spot on the front (the view port). I can pen them with some of my tier 4 tanks provided I hit them there.

If you are having issues penning, you need to do some research on tank weak spots, and learn them. You can't just expect to shoot and pen anywhere you hit unless you are a tier or two above the guy you are shooting.

Think he's referring to him not being able to hurt anything in his T25AT, which would be true if he's running his stock gun and shooting at tier 8 heavies and TDs.

He needs the top gun to realistically hurt anything his tier, nevermind the E75s and M103s he'll be seeing.

how do ya'll remember where the hell the weakspots on tanks are? I can't even recognize the tanks I'm shooting at =X I just aim where I suspect weakspots are (lower glacis, anything not angled, engine)

Luckily with a 10 round magazine and 2s reload between shots, I can take a lot of guesses in a short amount of time 😀

WoW, is all i can say, your defending a person who doesn't understand common decency and putting the blame on somebody for not having a filter on. "Gosh I'm sorry that burglar shot you, your door was unlocked so its your fault". Putting the blame on the victim seems to be the case today as we are all expected to just except people who cant act normal.

I myself could care less, words have no power unless you give it to them, call me every cus word in the book, it just shows lack of intelligence. But resorting to talking and wishing people to die like in a death camp is simply over the line.

On that note, I think i had the worst weekend ever in Wot, couldn't win if I paid (and I did fling some gold with little to show for it, hard to do anything when you get to shot maybe 3-4 times before team is dead). I would say 75% of my games where done in less then 4 minutes, how can teams consistently die so quickly?
