They should find who did it, judge and punish them with accordance of the law and values we, as a nation, hold. We shouldn't resort to barbarism because we should strive to be better than that, even when those we pursue don't hold to those same tenets.

I agree

I don't think this is really an issue at all concerning possibly severe levels of punishment for hard core, violent, career criminals. Is spending 8 hours a day breaking rocks or digging ditches a good deterrent for violent criminals?

Even in firefighting, in some situations you may need to use fire to actually stop a larger fire from spreading where you don't want it to.

And simply standing around passively and letting some sort of violence happen to you without bothering to fight back is a fools errand, and would probably get you injured or killed. You also clearly aren't going to approach a rabid, mad dog that's fixing to attack you and expect to be treated with fairness and kindness just because that's your philosophy in life, either.

If someone hates you for reasons you can't understand and pushes you into the mud, you have a mud fight on your hands, and all your happy thoughts about clean water and clothes pretty much go out the window at that point.
But this is the internet.:colbert:

Girls minister said he didn't want to talk about the girl now that she was dead but did want to say " "Jessica was a young lady who just loved to be loved". I knew she was thug-boffing right then

Thanks for the PM, is pretty eyebrow raising, but not a real surprise I guess.

Hmm..

Still, might need a clip for that one irregardless.

And this to go with it. I guess some of those seedy small towns really do need these, after all.

I think pretty much everybody had an idea but just didn't want to say it due to all the political unrest and protests currently.

What a wonderful thing to say about someone who died an incredibly horrible death. Was it your upbringing or did you manage it all on your own?

I hope Jessica's killers are found and justice is served. However, let's consider how terribly inaccurate the sleuths at Reddit and other internet sites were during the Boston bombings' investigation. Based on the past history of internet follies let's hold out on the lynch mobs, put down the tinfoil hats and hope for true justice. This Ali guy has been bombarded with death threats and most likely has nothing to do with this heinous crime based on him being cleared by police.

If you watched this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=iSvCvjZXXlU

linked from: http://theconservativetreehouse.com...assive-problems-in-panola-county-mississippi/

It makes a case for a possible attempt at a cover up on the part of the gas station where she was last seen. And this is a small town, with a tiny police force that might be in fear of gang retaliation, since they are severely outnumbered and outgunned there. So I'm not exactly surprised the police are clearing him and his involvement so quickly just to protect him, regardless of any possible involvement.

There were a lot of inaccurate internet videos / photos proving the guilt of supposed Boston bombers.

I watched the Youtube video, anyone can weave a story with Facebook posts and open ended questions. The part about the tow truck is stupid, obviously it's his tow truck that got the burned car because it's the only gasoline station in the town according to the video. Also the part about Ali posting information hours after it occurred, he claimed he got the information from police. Before the police cleared him of guilt they would have figured out if they told him about the murder details prior to his Facebook post. Regarding the security camera, maybe it saves space by only storing splices of information from the previous day?

Occam's razor applies here.

I agree, but...

a store employee in a photo flashing gang signs with local gangers is pretty revealing in itself, even if nothing else points to the stores possible involvement or a possible cover up of crucial details.
