Crazy Evil is worse than just crazy or just evil. I hope they track whomever did it down and lock them up in a rubber room/padded cell for psychologists to study.

Then think again. The deterrent effect of capital punishment is minimal, from all the studies I've seen. If you or anyone else has information to the contrary, I'd be happy to see it.

Most likely because they took the fangs out of it. They know they'll be in prison for awhile, and be given a death far more humane than those of us who die of "natural causes."

Now, that being said, I don't think we need to be inhumane. But a bullet through the brain is a quick and affordable death. No need to pay for medical of condemned men on death row.

If by "took the fangs" you mean "allowing for due process" possibly, but the evidence is still not definitive.

Also, the Supreme Court significantly disagrees with you on medical treatment for prisoners.

I see a lot of problems with this whole situation. I see a dead girl, horrifically killed by ANYONES account. I see people clamoring for death to the sick fuck that did this, and I see others somehow trying to convince us that our justice system can't deal with it, while others seem to be confused what they think.

The thing is (as someone pointed out) all viewpoints are valid and that's where we all fail.

First, Nothing on this earth will bring the girl back to her family or community. It is PAIN to those that loved her that will be difficult to heal, and their trust in humanity will have been greatly shaken at the least.

Can the killer, who is someone very different and apart from typical human life actions and "normal" emotions EVER come back from something like this? Would they WANT to?

Can you execute someone that may be able to reintegrate someday? Can you NOT execute them and convinve the family and community that killing someone in this heinous manner has virtually no consequence to the killer, other than a life supported by the communities that he devastated?

I don't have the answers. I am certain that in the moment between the lighter fluid and lighting the girl on fire I could easily dispatch the killer without remorse. After the fact......not so sure.

Guess I better get out my guns/baseball bats, and burn down a town. Because Justice! /s

But seriously, its not surprise that this has no traction in MSM. Sad but true, the only time they report about white women is when they drown their kids or back out of a wedding. Otherwise, it just ain't news for the race-baiters...

:(

Violent video games are a statistically significant cause of violence in society?

Have you seen any of human history? Cruelty is natural behavior for us, and always has been. We need written laws to remind ourselves that it's something we should try to avoid.
Like a Post-It stuck to your refrigerator. "Remember not to murder anyone for their food today. There's plenty of it at Kroger, just sitting on the shelves."

Really? Can't think of any "white woman/girl" missing stories of prominence? Really?

Or when said white women accuse black men of the crime.

Give me a fucking break. Missing pretty white women are the only ones who get coverage by the so called MSM when they go missing.

Cough...cough Susan Smith, Natalie Halloway...cough

I don't think Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Dahmer, Bundy, and Khan were playing violent video games when they murdered.

Appalling. Hope they find whoever did it and return the favor.
They should find who did it, judge and punish them with accordance of the law and values we, as a nation, hold. We shouldn't resort to barbarism because we should strive to be better than that, even when those we pursue don't hold to those same tenets.

You are quite right. Every time we lower ourselves to their level we ourselves become closer to the very thing we are trying to be rid of.

I don't think this is really an issue at all concerning possibly severe levels of punishment for hard core, violent, career criminals. Is spending 8 hours a day breaking rocks or digging ditches a good deterrent for violent criminals?

Even in firefighting, in some situations you may need to use fire to actually stop a larger fire from spreading where you don't want it to.

And simply standing around passively and letting some sort of violence happen to you without bothering to fight back is a fools errand, and would probably get you injured or killed. You also clearly aren't going to approach a rabid, mad dog that's fixing to attack you and expect to be treated with fairness and kindness just because that's your philosophy in life, either.

If someone hates you for reasons you can't understand and pushes you into the mud, you have a mud fight on your hands, and all your happy thoughts about clean water and clothes pretty much go out the window at that point.
