Any clue why our ATOT2 doesn't have a nice ring of color around each city? ATOT has a nice yellow.

I see a ring of color around both alliances' cities


I have a couple buddies that could use an invite:

It has color. On my map ATOT is orange and ATOT2 is yellow.

ATOT2 is up to #16 already. ATOT keeps shuffling around the top 3 spots with Shacknews and The Brotherhood.

I don't think AT has ever been in a game where our cities were so concentrated, this is going to be interesting once beginner protection expires.

We may need someone to step in for a ATOT Third Batallion soon enough. We're rapidly running out of room on ATOT Second Batallion. Would be preferable for a border person to step in to provide newer joiners with some room to form near the main group, since we have a few that are waaay off and I'm not terribly sure what to do to help them Snoop Dog specifically doesn't even seem in the same region of the world.

Yes, if you click that you refer me and thus you get placed near the safety of the main alliance. Some people didn't and they are waaaaay off.

Is there some way to see your hero's strength quantified similar to the units? To tell if I could have him attack a node alone/without any troops and be able to tell how successful he would be?

I don't have enough units to go around

Can I start ATOT3? I tried a link at the beginning of the thread, but I guess it didn't work or was full, as I'm now in BFE next to a group of about 10 players on one team Need backup! Badly!!!!

We usually give the position to someone nearby so we can keep our large faction in one group. Currently if you were leader of ATOT3 we would have our third brigade way off in the middle of nowhere. I'm not sure how to work this.

Heh, well I'm for poop then. Maybe I can do ATOT Frontier or something. Tis lonely out here next to Dragon Alliance (~10 players or so). Just my luck that I got plopped next to a big group of freaks, lots of other randomly placed non-allied players to the West and South of me.

Might be worth it to start over and use a referral link.

Has anyone figured out how the resources work. You seem to get them during the day so I'm guessing it's how many you get per day into 24 hours. Might start at 0:00, not sure. Trying to figure out if I can sell stuff and still have enough when it gets time to build.

It looks like now I'll need about 2 days of troops to take on the other spots. You lose more troops if you stack fails to defeat the other stack even if you win overall, right? There are 2 spots that I have better overall numbers but can't get a stack big enough to defeat their main stack.

yes, the referral link was not to join the alliance.. just to get your starting city nearby

I'm skeptical that we actually need an ATOT3. If ATOT2 fills up, I'd suggest new joiners just keep playing, you still get 15 days of beginner protection. Once a week or so has gone by we can weed out inactives from the alliances and hopefully have enough spots for everyone.

So I seem to have entered a "lull" period; I think other people are experiencing this as well. It basically happens after you have cleared out 2-4 forest squares and don't have enough troops to hit another forest. I'm focusing on building up my troop structures and mines but it's taking time to save up the resources. Tomorrow I should be able to start building my 3rd recruiting structure. I do think things will get better once I get over this hump and have good troop production going. Keep in mind that if you have nothing else to do, use the slider so that building costs you less resources.

I didn't click on the referral link and I made a city and joined the ATOT alliance already.

Should I restart?

I want to be close to the Alliance.
