My good friend devnull pointed me to a new browser game, Might & Magic: Heroes Kingdoms. I've only played for an hour or so, but it looks very promising. In the tradition of Ikariam (and other browser games), I invite ATOT to jump in and dominate the world!
Might and Magic: Heroes Kingdoms
The above link is a referral for thecoolnessrune and should put you close to the rest of us. If you don't want to use it for whatever reason, feel free to go straight to the game.
When you create your account you get to choose a faction, which will determine your power balance between fighting/economy/magic, and what kind of units you get. Here's an overview of each faction in case you want more info.
Drag and drop these 4 links, they don't work otherwise.
Haven (Knights)
Academy (Mages)
Inferno (Demons)
Necropolis (Undead)
This game looks much deeper than some of the others we've played. Besides 3 basic resources (wood, ore, gold), there are 4 rare resources and your town only has one, so you'll need to trade or pillage to get other resources. In addition to your basic units, you have heroes which gain experience and skills. Even better, there are victory conditions that allow an alliance to WIN, instead of just endless war that goes on and on. If it isn't too buggy, it could be extremely good. Come check it out!
