I can buy 2 Chevy Cobalts for the price of a Range Rover too......

If ever there were an apples to oranges comparison...

Then you obviously missed it....

cannot think of one? Get back to me when any version of Windows can run the latest Logic Pro. If you're a producer and depend on Logic I would say that's the biggest reason in the world. As far as I know there are no top level A/V programs that are PC exclusive. For A/V Mac's still reign supreme. The gap is closing every year, but it's definitely still there.

Choice is good and if you choose Apple or Linux you just pushed MS into making a better product (hopefully not just a better commercial).

No mater what we choose competition is good for all of us.

Are you attempting to equate a Mac to a RR and a PC to the Cobalt? I'm just saying that's a completely worthless analogy.

Oh gee, look what we have here, another Mac vs. PC thread.

lol, same thing I thought as soon as I saw the title as well.

looks at aphex's title  😛

This isn't a PC vs. Mac thread. It's about Microsoft using the ecomony to turn Apple's marketing strategy against it.

Are there any quastions?

- Why can't I two finger scroll on any windows laptop? (at least, that I've seen)
- Why is getting a MacBook to work with my TV sooooooo much easier than any xp laptop?
- Why is it so goddamn hard to resize pictures on my Mac?
- Why does office suck so bad on a Mac?
- Why is it so hard to play porn videos on a Mac?

finger scroll on windows laptop here:

http://code.google.com/p/two-f...-scroll/downloads/list

you will need a compatible pad for that, one i tried that works is the one on acer aspireone.

I dont find it easier or harder to setup secondary display on a mac than a PC. As long as the connection is compatible (that you dont try to feed a analog signal into HDMI etc).

Has lightroom on mac to resize pictures, I imagine there are plenty of apps to do just that, you have to find them.

Pages is counter intuitive, this I agree. As far as I know trying from a trial install of Office on the mac, it is just like any other Office that I used... When in doubt, Neo Office.

Can't play porn on any computer? VLC.

yes this link says Logic is only available for the Mac, I think my point was proven 😀

When will Apple realize that not everyone wants to pay $2800 for a 17" notebook?
