Its not going to be over until shes the nominee. That wise and beautiful woman will never concede until she wins the nomination or hell freezes over. Haven't you heard? The presidency is her birthright. She's not going to let some young black man stand in her way and she say anything to try to get past him.

you're as bad as sense.

Obama's speech:

You know, some were saying that North Carolina would be a game-changer in this election. But today, what North Carolina decided is that the only game that needs changing is the one in Washington, DC.

..... Middle cut out for better posting.....

This time can be different than all the rest. This time we can face down those who say our road is too long; that our climb is too steep; that we can no longer achieve the change that we seek. This is our time to answer the call that so many generations of Americans have answered before -- by insisting that by hard work, and by sacrifice, the American Dream will endure. Thank you, and may God Bless the United States of America.

Really good cause hes focusing on his pride of America and appealing to blue-collar here as well.

Fantastic speech. HRC needs to go.

Indeed. It was even better hearing him give it.

And Lake County is only posting 28% but already he has a ~18.5k advantage.

Ouch, Obama lost Indiana. Too bad, so sad.

 Hillary barely won Indiana and got spanked in NC. In short the race is closer to the finish and she's further back. But go ahead and celebrate your 'victory' douche bag.

Still too close to call.

It was a draw and Hillary needed a win. It's game over for her, and she knows it too. Her tone was totally different in her speech tonight, with all the tidbits about supporting the Democratic nominee in November, how important it is to have a Democrat in the White House instead of letting the Republicans have another four years, etc. Really, she might as well stick around because her supporters would vote uncommitted instead of for Obama anyway.

Do you honestly think McCain would do this country better than Obama?

With a Democrat Congress to check and balance him, yes.

So you just want more gridlock? Sounds like politics as usual.

Sure. Worked well in the 90s.

So, what's with the "empty suit?"

Empty suit without checks and balances is the worst case scenario. See Bush.

That doesn't tell me why Mr. Obama is a "empty suit."

Would you mind clearing that up for me?

Yeah, because Obama and Bush are sooooo alike.

By the way, you didn't answer his question. Go ahead and define 'empty suit'.

Whoa... look at those results from Lake county finally coming in. :Q

Pwnage of epic proportions 🙂

Think we can have a Dewey defeats Truman repeat?

If the rest of Lake County follows up with the same results the 28% reporting has, it may happen! Man, what a night.

Simple math says that if these numbers hold up (Lake co. was 28% reporting at last check) that Obama will win Indiana by ~30k votes.

That's true, but I'd already been telling you guys for 6 years that HRC would never be President.

He stands for nothing. All we know is he is a big follower of black liberation theology and his healthcare plan won't work.

Nobody's health care "plan" is going to work, because the problem is with the people, not the system.

really. Tell me more.

And for those of you (like me) who might have been getting worried about the little blank spot in the lower right hand corner, per wikipedia, Union county, Indiana only has a population of 7,349. 🙂

edit: a population tally virtually unchanged for the past 170 years too, it seems.

He knows what's wrong with Washington and he's not afraid to attack it head on. Hence the no money from lobbyists or big business. A president should make decisions with the people in mind, not those who are slipping hundreds of thousands of dollars into their pockets to pull policy in their favor.
