Obama is not just someone who happens to be black. He is member of black liberation church and was a community organizer in South Chicago. He deals with racial issues as a matter of faith, and also dealt with them as his full time job.
http://www.pickensdemocrats.or...TheAgitator_070319.htm
His 1995 memoir, Dreams from My Father, recounts his idealistic effusions: "Change won't come from the top, I would say. Photo by Brooks KraftChange will come from a mobilized grass roots. That's what I'll do. I'll organize black folks. At the grass roots. For change."
After these itinerant years, he would finally be able to insinuate himself into a community--and not just any community, but, as he later put it, "the capital of the African American community in the country."
Certainly it was about race for him.

It's good to hear you finally admit publicly that your hatred for Obama is about his race.

Playing the race card may win some arguments for you, but it won't help Obama win in November.

I'm just calling a spade a spade.

wow, way to play the race card  next you'll be talking about Obama not doing spadework.

I'm hoping Robor's post was tongue in cheek. Either that or he wasn't familiar with the slang meaning of that term. Either way, it was a good dig on senseamp who demonstrates time and time again in these forums that he's a racist.

We are getting further and further from the original thread question. Which was, will we wake up on May 7 with a democratic nominee? The answer is a quite clear no.

But on the bright side, Hillary has changed her tune to the Huckabee position of she will stay until the dems have a nominee. As her own super delegates defect and Obama picks up super delegates, all that is missing
is a face saving moment for Hillary to concede. The new prediction is maybe May 13 with West Virginia and failing that May 20 with Oregon and Kentucky.

Hillary math does not compute.

Yes it was tongue in cheek. From senseamp's own post he's not hiding that his dislike for Obama based on his race. It's in plain view above.

In practical terms, the democrats have a nominee. The problem with WV is that she will probably will it, which will not encourage her to bail, and so we'll have to wait a bit longer.

I certainly agree that for most blacks in this country right now his race is of greater consequence to them than it is for most whites. We can bend figures all we want, but when 90+ percent of blacks are voting for him, I find it hard to stomach anything but them being substantially biased toward the color of his skin.

Doesn't really change anything, but it is interesting.

It's not being ignored in the media, but it's being so glossed over notice it unless you were really paying attention. During the election cover one of the heads even started a discussion with "...and obama received 93% of the black votes. In a sign that race may becoming an issue, over 30% of white voters are now saying the candidates race may affect their vote choice".

Oh noes, 1/3 of whitey now questions the great black hope after learning about his wright & nation of islam connections among others, yet totally disregard any further mention that almost 10 of every 10 blacks is voting for him. And yet someone will still probably come out and say the media is sucking up to clinton.

What are you talking about 'glossed over'? Every TV show I've watched or news article I've read on election coverage points out the % of black population and Obama is getting ~90% of the black vote. Why does this surprise you given the history of this country? Don't think blacks weren't offended by Bill's Jesse Jackson winning SC comment either.

What nation if islam connection? Do you mean the one where Obama denounced Farrakhan and said he wouldn't accept his endorsement if he offered it? Unless you have real proof stop spreading your Obama FUD.

At least hillary knows that it's stupid white people who like her Link
Clinton cited an Associated Press article "that found how Sen. Obama's support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me."

Let's all help pull robor's head from his ass for a moment.

Yes they are talking about it, and that's my point. They mention it purely as a stat. It doesn't become. "Racism issue" until they discuss how many whites are voting for hillary.
