He shouldnt have to legally change his name to Tom... and I doubt that she would recognize the change.

How has your wife changed since you were dating her? I'm betting she hasn't changed a bit, yet you married her then anyway.

Reminds me of this topic: wife just had an affair - tkdkid, where he said, "I just thought that if we hung in there long enough, that we could get a house, a dog, maybe even have kids."

His wife is the same as she ever was, too. I don't think people give it enough thought when they decide to get married.
