It's a combination of the China's market implosion, plus ccomments made by Greenspan yesterday predicting a recession.

I think it's because the market realized how much energy the Gore-acle eats up by himself.
 
It's only a roughly 3% drop across the markets, so it's hardly the end times. In the meantime, bonds are booming! I'd say the Feds won't be raising rates this year. So look to low rates this year with good buying opportunities coming up. My favorite. You can't buy low and sell high if prices are always high and keep getting higher.
 
Now at -368 and rising with a massive spike in volume. I'd say a few billion just changed hands in the last hour. Some suckers got played, that's for sure.

I think its going down becasue everyone is so let down that Cheney WASN'T killed 😛.

But really, If I had any money now would be a good time to buy stocks, and looking at the chart I'm not the only one who thinks so since its comming back up right now. Anyways, screw China's government for trying to muck around and causing their stock market to go down the crapper pulling us down with them.
 
For some reason I don't feel too bad, knowing that I sold the last of my positions a few weeks ago waiting for opportunity like this to knock😀.

Probably hit that barrier the market put in to stop big falls. Just when you want to buy because it is a good idea too... sigh.

Because China's stock market dropped almost 9% this morning leading to ripple effects throughout the rest of the world.
