Former Marine Joshua Boston has sent a letter to diane feinstein saying he will not register his weapons even if the "assault weapons" ban passes. He tells that her that he has the right to own firearms and he served 8 years in order to defend her and the freedom of everyone else. He points out her hypocrisy since she carries a gun but wants to ban his.

As well he points that with registration its much easier for the government to take away guns.

This guy is a true American patriot and more people need to say no to their politicians like this guy.

I would like to see the gun control advocates go up against this guy :D

Do you agree that he did the right thing in sending the letter and he should not have to register/give up his firearms?

http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-902515?hpt=hp_bn1

We need more of this guy. The liberals want none of his kind. People that use logic and enjoy freedom, makes them sick.

your generalizing comments are offensive towards the European countries that chose not to give up and are fighting for their freedom from the undemocratic bureaucrat institution known as EU.
In my country after an event like this a spontaneous group would have created a popular initiative proposing to ban the assault rifles (if they really tried that here they'd fail) by gathering signatures and the people would have voted.
Meanwhile you just have endless bickering and lobbying and a decision that creates political calm is never made.
Who is more free?

Then why were the people not fighting against the eu? The eu should not even exist.

People dont have the right to ban "assault rifles" no matter how many signatures they get since people have the right to bear arms.

Europe is just as corrupt as the US and in many less free, Europe is slowly heading towards tyranny and being taken over.

Indicating the depth of her research on the issue, she said on Dec. 21st that she had personally looked at pictures of guns in 1993, and again in 2012.

Dianne Feinstein confirmed for world's foremost firearms expert.

Unless you were a Marine STFU. My MOS had no promotion to Cpl for 3 1/2 years and Sgt for almost 4, since my MOS was so small. If he was a grunt or in a huge MOS then he should have been promoted, but he was and is still a Marine. Way to attack the man instead of his message.

You signed up for or stuck in an MOS that didn't even allow you to be promoted to E-4, which is still a crap rank, for 3.5 years!? Sorry man but that's your fault. If he stuck in one for 8 years that's his fault too. In a very competitive rating I made E-5 in a bit over 2 years.

Who cares if he was a Marine? Seems like he was a pretty crappy one. Also, his message was dumb. If he wants to break the law he's welcome to, but he will pay the price. Also, Senator Feinstein does not in fact work for him, she works for the citizens of the state of California as a whole. He needs some civics classes, stat.

I don't like Feinstein's bill any more than any other proud gun owner. Hell if I am going to register my four AR-15's either if this shit bill gets passed.

At any rate, what most people who aren't in the firearm world don't realize is that this bitch on the hill has been trying to "re-up" the original AWB since it sunsetted in '04 and she has failed every single year. America has a short memory and even shorter attention span and before long something else will happen that will shift the spotlight off guns and onto something else. Most of these "bills" will never even get the votes to get out of the subcomittee stage let alone onto the Senate/House floors.

It's amazing to me that guns are always the target when a tragedy like this happens. No, we can't blame the guy that pulled the trigger. That would force us to deal with bigger issues. Lets just ban guns. Surely that will solve everything.

Ridiculous...

Feinstein is also a patriot, serving her country in the Senate. This will surely piss off some of you: "Feinstein has been re-elected four times since then and in the 2012 election, she claimed the record for the most popular votes in any U.S. Senate election in history, having received 7.75 million votes."
I don't really like her, she's too conservative-voted for Bush's tax cuts and wars. Guns seem to be the only issue where she is liberal.

Testing for rate is much different then getting promoted in the Marines. As for me staying in same MOS, I was in one enlistment, 6 years, got out and since I was in such a crappy MOS actually got a job in my field. If I planned on staying in for good I would have stuck it out in my MOS, just because I didn't climb the ranks while I was in, I have since I have got out.

As for breaking the law, you go right ahead and pay the $200 tax per weapon if she can get assault weapons put in the same class as Machine Guns and convince yourself this will improve safety. Gun Control by the Government is all about one thing, control. The grab they are going for now is a slippery slope to losing everything, if anyone thinks any of her so called "assault weapons" are any different then tons of "hunting" rifles because of a stock color or handguard or whatever other feature they decide demonize you are a fool.

The $200 tax stamp is the LEAST of the problems with NFA.

If that's ALL it was was paying a 200 tax Is gladly not give a shit about NFA.

LOL at a european lecturing Americans about rights, This is the same europe that is losing its freedom and he has the nerve to lecture us

I'm not actually European, and my post had nothing to do with Europe (as you well know).

I'm talking about 'rights' as they exist in the USA. They do not exist in a vacuum. They come with responsibilities/obligations, a key one of which is to obey the law.

Hmm...sounds like a right wing talking point. Can provide proof that she has armed gaurds and that they carry guns she wants to ban?

You're right, I'm sure the Capitol building is guarded with fluffy pink unicorns that shoot rainbows out of their horns.

She's an old rotting bitch, she's has to be a heart attack away , good riddance.

If her ban passes I predict many more Jared Loughners. And I can't say I'd care either.

Gee, thanks for the social studies lesson Mr. GtheC...I can't help that you don't pay attention and are being rude and ignorant with your response.

I don't agree with the law...it's really that simple. I've never once disputed that those laws that you mentioned are on the books now. I don't care for the current status and I'm pretty sure Senator Feinstein is trying to make that situation worse. I'm not alone in that opinion. Am I allowed to disagree with a law signed by the President? Is that OK with you?

You apparently have your own opinion. That's OK that's how a discussion should play out. Now, why don't you step off of your self-righteous left wing stance and try to be polite or state you're own opinion regarding the proposed bill.

I suppose you have no issues with every law on the books now or being presented as a bill?

It doesn't matter what you think. It doesn't matter what I think. The only thing that matters is that the law must be obeyed is passed, and if anyone chooses to break it, they do so at their own peril. And you have said the law is illegal, which is totally not true. The court system would have to rule on that, if a bill ever got passed. All you are doing is throwing a typical ill-informed temper tantrum about wanting to pick and choose which laws are "right" based on your feelings and gut instinct. Hint: Doesn't work that way.

Basic civics 101, guess you ignored that in school

Again, unless you have that magic neocon legal ruling that lets you pick and choose which laws you obey based on what you "feel". LOL

So then I take it you don't believe in civil disobedience and believe that all drug users should be jailed according to federal statutes?

Feinstein is NOT a patriot, that is an insult to the proud patriots of this country. She is a tyrant, the fact that she doesn't believe in freedom and supports the Constitution is enough for her to be kicked out.

She is also a pos
