I love this forum. Clinton could kill and eat a buss full of children and people would defend her.

I think it's rather interesting that they gave this guy immunity. I wonder how it plays out.
He says what he's told to say under oath and she is cleared is most likely what will happen.

Or maybe he tells the truth & the same thing happens. Or not.

The one thing I'm sure of is that Hillary haters have poor judgment as witnessed by their Trumpster crush.

I thought the point of granting someone immunity was they did something wrong but either at the behest of someone else or not to the same degree as someone else. You give them immunity so they tell the whole story, including their misdeeds, so that you can catch the bigger fish.

If there are no bigger fish why grant immunity?

Maybe you don't know if there are bigger fish, hence the gamble of giving someone immunity. The person getting immunity may have done nothing wrong, but might simply be unwilling to speak with the government without the grant.

There is a reason every lawyer tells their clients to keep their mouths shut. You don't want to inadvertently incriminate yourself or accidentally say something that could be construed as lying to a federal investigator (which is a crime many have been convicted of).

Two good points. I'll add a third: It's entirely possible that Pagliano broke the law at the direction of Hillary, and if so, it's a lot more likely that he is indicted than that the Democrat nominee is indicted. Pleading the Fifth and having everyone assume he's guilty (or covering for the Hildabeast) is smart compared to the possibility of being indicted for something, correctly or not. He has every reason to not cooperate. For the DoJ, they need to wrap up this investigation well before the convention and the D-R debates, so Hillary can say she was completely vindicated. And knowing that whatever Pagliano did was at the direction of Mrs. Clinton, granting him immunity makes just as much sense (from their standpoint) regardless of whether they are trying to get bigger fish (i.e. Mrs. Clinton) or simply trying to make this go away. Pagliano was simply a tool, and there's not much point in indicting tools.

Or maybe the whole thing is under such high magnification that the FBI wants to cross all the T's & dot all the i's by getting as much of the story as possible.

When Congressional Repubs seemed like they would summon him before the inquisition he lawyered up & STFU as any sensible person would do. When the FBI later went to his lawyer the same thinking prevailed as it would with any decent lawyer. As has been said, he doesn't have to have done anything wrong to say something wrong.

I think the fact that the Clinton campaign encouraged him to cooperate way back when tells us more than anything else.

This whole business of immunity for damning testimony plays well in a lot of movies but doesn't necessarily apply that way in real life.

He signed don't ask don't tell, which led to gays being ejected from the armed forces just for being gay.

DADT was a relaxing of military policy which prohibited gay people from serving altogether. It was a compromise. It's possible such a compromise made it take longer to move for gay people being openly allowed and it's possible that there were some people who were less cautious of hiding their homosexuality under the policy and got caught revealing it where they wouldn't have before.

Apparently the number of discharges for being gay increased for a while after DADT was implemented. But it's possible that a significant number of those people were looking to be discharged, possibly even including some that weren't actually gay.

Kee-rist. The guy did a side job for the boss, set up her private email server. How the Hell that gets turned into some sort of major brouhaha is a function of right wing propaganda.

So the FBI is part of the "Right Wing" and spreading propaganda now.

OK.

I hope this bitch get's burned while people like Jhhnn are still alive to witness it. I can't wait to see the case get made and shut some people up and I really hope it happens before the general election. I've seen all I need to see to understand this is a person who should never be president.

And how will your opinion change when nothing illegal is shown to have happened?

Nice straw man. The FBI was swept into it on waves of agitprop & faithful delusionists like yourself have been led to believe their investigation is something that it's not.

And, of course, should their investigation not find what you want it will just mean that they're part of the conspiracy in the minds of Birther/Benghazi believers.

Uh oh, hillarys in trouble! The AP found the smoking gun email!

She knew that sending information about what a foreign leader said was top secret and she told her minions to send it anyway! Oh she's done!

Right wing fishing expeditions are more performance art than anything else. It's not about catching fish, it's just about telling a fish story, about creating an experience for the listener. They'll always believe in the big one that got away.

Yeah, they're going to nail her for WhiteWater and for murdering Vincent Foster too.

Keep on keepin' on with those public displays of delusion. It's absolutely hilarious.

You are the one that said that propaganda was being spread. The information I use to gauge my opinion is what I hear from the FBI. So the FBI must be spreading propaganda, they are the ones keeping the investigation going.

I would just like to see justice done. I think the investigation would have been over long ago if they weren't finding things.

Romania approves extradition of convicted hacker 'Guccifer' to U.S.

Dynasty 2016 Episode 2: Romney v. Trump

The article linked directly above contains a quote the first article linked.

In a little-noticed story “Guccifer”, the Romanian who hacked Sidney Blumenthal’s email account and first informed us of Hillary’s private email accounts is on his way here, undoubtedly to face FBI questioning about the unsecured nature of her emails.
Romania's top court has approved a request by U.S. authorities to extradite a convicted hacker known as Guccifer, a source within Romania's DIICOT anti-organized crime and terrorism unit told Reuters on Friday.
"The court approved an 18-month temporary extradition to America for the hacker. This follows a request made by U.S. authorities," the source said.
A Romanian justice ministry spokeswoman said details of the extradition request had not yet been made public.
The short term of the “temporary extradition” would suggest that he’s here to testify, not to be prosecuted, although he was indicted in 2014 on charges of wire fraud, unauthorized access to a protected computer, aggravated identity theft, cyberstalking and obstruction of justice.
I'd say the FBI is building a case that will be tough for Loretta Lynch to easily dismiss. She can of course delay although some legal minds feel that a grand jury has already been convened. They see no other reason for Pagliano to have been given immunity.

I guess we will see in time.

We are all speculating.

You are speculating that maybe she didn't do anything.

A lot of us are speculating that maybe she did. I think the FBI knows something.
