Madden 09 360 online league...

Penalties have always sucked. Interceptions I don't raelly have a problem with, you just have to be careful. Fumbles occur a lot with hitsticks.

BTW, the league is back up so you guys can join in now. Let's start playing some games.
 

I'm interested in joining..
I just got an xbox 360 about a month ago (first console I've ever owned..) and I'm very new at the game (never played any previous versions) so I'd definately be an easy win 😛

Now that I've crawled out from under my rock, I'd like to take the saints and get in the game

I will be on tonight (around 10pm cst) to start my Bears march to the championship if anyone wants to get some games in.
 
Who quit? I don't want to see any of that shit in this league and I'll kick people out of it if they aren't playing fair and they are quitting.

Him I was up 38 -14 in the 4th quarter with 5 minutes to go, He went for it on 4th and 17 and came up short, then he quit. I accepted his quit in the game and it shows me beating him 2- 0.
 
I thought I set it to 7 min quarters. Let's try that out, if people think its to long we can go to 6. I want to try to get somewhat realistic stats. Also, no quitting, finish the game because if you quit the stats won't be realistic.

I'll look for a rookie one with players more on my level. I'll probably enjoy a level playing field a lot more.
 
plaid, relax man. this league is just for fun. We don't know how good anyone is and there is a good chance you'll get better. Besides, you may have just played the best person in our league, nobody really knows. Just have fun with ti and look at it as an opportunity to practice.

I'm just getting into the online part of it as well and i know i have some whoppings coming my way, but the only way to get better is to play better people. As far as your game just watch the passes over the middle its what cost you the game.
 
I will be on from now till maybe 12 ET. I'm doing my fantasy draft and playing Madden during it. If anyone wants to play drop me an invite. I'll be doing my franchise till then.

I actually played my first game online last night; it was unranked and I was beating a guy 31-7 at half time (me Bills, him Cowboys). I left at halftime.

Yea, it was a good game. I checked that endzone INT replay - it was borderline pass interference.

I need to get the timing down - the delay is throwing off my game a bit. I like to quickly switch defensive players and then immediately go for the hit stick, but with the delay I end up being off by a half second or so resulting in a bunch missed tackles.

Also need to try using moves like you said to break tackles - didn't know it worked like that.

I've just been reluctant to play online to practice as most people are assholes. If anyone here wants to play and see me on just drop me an invite.

I just got Madden and an XBOX360. I used to own at it (PS2,XBOX days) but now I'm bad. Not just bad, horrible. Between being frustrated at sucking and the turbine we call the XBOX360, I'm finding it tough to like. I'll keep playing though in hopes of getting the hang of it.

Kinda do and kinda don't wanna join this league. My Skins have been taken and the only decent team left is Indianapolis..... EDIT: Nope Indy has been taken too 😛
