Madden 09 360 online league...

hey cuda you can take me off the league. i don't want to hold up a team and i honestly don't think i'll be playing madden much at all especially now that tiger is out and w/the slew of games i am going to want to play and still have to play.
 
is there somewhere we can look at the league stats/leaders? All I see is record/points scores/points allowed....what am I missing.

Ric- under league standings hit X on the guys stats you want to see. There you can see all players stats and stuff.
 
I may have to leave the league.. I'm starting to hate the game. This is my first madden game - and I really cannot stand the 0-96 scores online against people whos records at 0 wins and 5 losses. The impossible plays that occur on each and every play, even on single player against the AI.. are so immensely aggravating that I cannot see myself playing this more than 5x before I put it on ebay. I beat all the little training practices on all three difficulty settings and yet cannot make 1 TD online or off due to consistent random fumbles and interceptions by nonplayer controlled players. Online when ever I'm on defense it seems like the second I take control of someone that's defending a receiver that the transfer between AI and me automatically takes the defender off course and allowing the running back to always catch it...

I'm really hating this game and will probably be withdrawing as soon as I get online next time. This really reinforces my hatred of EA.
 
Sorry, you may also want to drop me too. I have done all that I can to invite people to a game for more than a week, with no results. It is to unstructured. Thanks anyhow.
 
Eh, ok. I haven't been online the last few nights due to college starting back up again, but I was planning on getting a few games in this weekend 🙁. Hopefully we can still keep about 12 guys in the league, that'd make a nice little season.

sorry to say man, but if you can't score a single TD its not the games fault. I'm not very good but can still put up 60 points on a crappy person or AI.

I have seen exactly 1 fumble in the 25+ games i've played. Do you spin/juke/jump every step while running?

Now I hate EA as much as the next guy, but you can't hate on them just cause you're terrible at the game dude.

Alright, I think it's time for a massive league overhaul.

Start from scratch. No "calling" teams by posting. First come, first serve. Enter the league, pick a team from the available list and you're set.

Then, schedule weekly games between teams. Set up an actual schedule, list available times for each team, etc. Maybe even cap the number of teams at 8. 5 minute quarters - game takes at most an hour.

Can the league GM simulate games?
 
I don't see the point in restarting the league. NFL season lasts 4+ months, we have had this league for what, 3 weeks? I have 4 games in already.

Honestly its a stupid idea. Just kick the people out who haven't played yet, starting over just makes the league last a couple months longer.

Also i wouldn't let anyone join unless they have already played a game or they have played someone already in the league. I haven't been real impressed with the quality of the people I've played. One quitter and another "disconnected" right after i came back from 14 down in the 4th quarter.
 
Alright, I think we just kick out the guys who haven't started playing yet, change the PW and muscle thru it. It shouldn't take us to long to get thru the season. After season 1 we can decide what we want to do.

JEDISURFER1 add me anyone if you want to play. I'm 10-0 and have not allowed a touchdown yet. My offense needs work but my defense is a juggernaut. I've busted 3 75+ runs with mcfadden. I think madden made the his ex team the Raiders better than their 71 rating.
