The producers asked the network to run the shows this way this season. They said that last season, with 1 new episode, 2 reruns, 2 new, 1 old, people were getting confused. So this year they're running bigger blocks of new shows with bigger breaks.

I love lost, and have really enjoyed the second season. The characters backstories may not interest average joe TV guy, but they are very well done.

Just about every show does this, why is it people are up in arms when LOST does the same? There are only a few shows that play every episode back to back like 24.

They should have started in January a la 24 and done it straight through.

I think so. I also think that Ecko didn't get onto that plane because his borther went instead of him some how. I am beginning to think Ecko went to the island on his own will to retrieve the heroine and find his brother.

EDIT: lol NM ... not anymore 😛
