Many of the studio execs in the industry are not the nicest people you could meet. Even though it won't change anything it is a petty way to get back at them for the bad reviews everyone knows they are going to write.

so this big natural disaster happens and then what?

i mean do yetis riding on wooly mammoths come out and the people have to band together to fight them?

i dont see how there can be a plot..so the big disaster happens, people get killed the movie reaches a climatic point and then what ??

Quad was good in "Enemy Mine" and as Doc Holliday in that Wyatt Earp Movie (though not as good as Val Kilmer in "Tombstone") but I wouldn't have him as a lead for a 200 Mill socalled Blockbuster.

I think it was just an inappropriate low-brow stab at the makers of the movie, because the guy is still pissed he didn't get his shrimp, while at the same time trying to turn people to his cause by mentioning 9/11. It simply had no place in the article.

For some reason, the trailers of this movie always seem to remind my of Volcano (Tommy Lee Jones et al), and we all know how horribly sucky that movie was.

Just throw in some tontons and call it EP3. Couldn't suck any worse than what Lucas is going to put out.

Maybe they can place Hayden's head in there somewhere. Maybe on a tidal wave? It would be more menacing that way.

So has EVERY genre, yet they're still producing movies in Hollywood, i wonder why...

I wanted to see it, and still do. They already committed so much money to the movie, they should have spent a little more and gotten better actors.

Actors can only do so much with a lame script.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my dumb summer fun and plan to see this movie, but if the movie is 'bad' I doubt I'll blame it on Quaid/Jake.

i hope he is not being serious about the walk from DC to NYC...that would be ridiculus...

calculated at 4mph, with no stops (no sleep, food, pissing, etc...) would take 2.5 days...lol

I thought ID4 was pretty decent, if it was nothing more than a popcorn flick, but this dumbass is talking about the superb acting, great plotline, etc of ID4...wtf?

Will Smith was very powerful in that film! It definately pushed ID4 into my 'Top 10 Alien Invasion Movies' list.

i won't watch it

BTW, i could never figure out why "Independence Day" was a big hit. it was an ok movie, but not a blockbuster. it should have been a TV movie also
