you've got to be messed up in the head if you seriously think that the "simpsons" and "seinfeld" sucked.

FOR EVERYONE WHO READS THIS:
seriously, if you're going to post shows that you think aren't funny, please at least do us all a favor and post your age in your post.

FOR THE OP:
edit the op and tell people they need to post their age, too. 12-year-olds who don't find the humor in the "simpsons" or "seinfeld" or "everybody loves raymond" or "american dad" need to let us know that it's because they're 12.

im almost 30 and agree with 99% of the shows posted in here not being funny

ok, here is a list of shows that actually were funny that people are posting as not being funny:

- arrested development
- home improvement
- family guy
- american dad
- 30 rock
- golden girls
- friends
- the simpsons
- news radio
- the cosby show
- everybody loves raymond
- curb your enthusiasm
- the office (it was funny for a while, then stopped)

if you are a person who answered any of these shows, you have no sense of humor.

if (and ONLY if) you answered "everybody loves raymond" and you are single or not in a married or close-to-married scenario, you get a pass.

all the other shows that were mentioned were either mildly amusing at best or just plain sucked.

i am 27

i know it's not a sitcom, but i'm going to say "bevis and butthead"... so goddamn not funny. it was just annoying and it was even more annoying because it made kids at school more annoying because they would immitate them.

Silence! I need TP for my bunghole!

Those who didn't like Malcolm In The Middle should try watching the reruns now. I thought it was decent when it was on but now my kids are starting to get into it, so when I sit and watch with them I LMAO half the time.

Well over 30, and wrong: American Dad and Everybody Loves Raymond still aren't funny.

well, to be fair, you could make the same post about us twenty-somethings not finding the humor in 80's and 90's 'family' sitcoms, as that's mostly what i had in mind when i made the post. but apparently some old geezers actually think that shit was funny. i guess home improvement is great when you had to grow up watching leave it to beaver.

but it's not just about age. i love lucy, get smart, taxi, newhart....there are plenty of much older shows that WERE funny.

but to say seinfeld, frasier, raymond, et al never had a funny moment...people are dumb.

Phil Hartman made SNL and Newsradio funny, with out him they both died. My fondest memory of him was the faux Ad for the Chameleon Car.

Never underestimate the power of Jon Lovitz to wreck something that was once completely awesome.

(though Newsradio wasn't really his fault...no one can replace Phil Hartman :()

it seems that those who grew up worshiping anime have the least sense of humor. Or at the very least, a complete aversion to wit.

....which means they have a strong taste for shitty animation and wretchedly horrible writing.

this does not surprise me.

I don't know how people can say seinfeld isn't funny. curb your enthusiasm is even better.

there shouldn't even be a discussion on those. now, on the other hand, I really think house of payne is funny. try watching a couple full episodes. the guy who plays curtis payne carries the show and everyone else on it, and its hilarious. the little girl is pretty good too.

this post is like a hot chick saying they think you're cute, but then pointing out that the elephant man is cuter.

though i wont say "everbody loves raymond" never had a funny moment, i will say i could never get past how he was a "sports writer" but never talks about or watches sports.

thats funny, i loved Seinfeld and hate Curb your Enthusiasm, its fucking stupid

I can't really get into Curb either. My ex gave me a few of the seasons and while I laughed in parts, I really could not get into it. I feel as if I should really like it, but I can't get into it for whatever reason.

I do want to watch the ones with Super Dave though because that dude is hilarious.

there was an episode where he kept trying to chase terry bradshaw and get an interview from him... it was one of the first episodes, i think...

Was just watching Its Garry Shandlings Show and it occurred to me, Seinfeld completely ripped him off.

Shandling Show and Larry Sanders to an even greater degree, were both amazing shows.

it doesn't make sense, this post

you said seinfeld and curb are funny.

then said a tyler perry show is funny.

it defies all logic. it's like saying your favorite flavor of ice cream is vanilla, and i'm like 'yeah, vanilla is great,' then you elaborate that your second favorite flavor is month-old baby diaper.
