LOL Boehner's Plan Won't Even Pass in the Republican-Controlled House

It needs 216 votes to pass. Boehner only has 214 votes and he's scrambling at the last moment trying to get those 2 extra votes before the bill is voted on today. LOL @ Boehner for thinking that it could pass in the Senate when the Tea Party nuts in the House won't vote for it.

Who cares? Yes or no it's known it WILL die in the Senate. The GOP needs to stop putting up meaningless votes for everything and start compromising in line with the will of Americans.

Has there ever been this many symbolic votes in six months of a congress before?

And the democrats could not push through to healthcare bill when they had the Senate and House. Whats the damn difference? It's also the issue. To many people in these two parties who owe one thing or another to their supporters. It's a damn disaster and time for a true 3rd party.

If it fails we can just use the Democrat plan. Oh, that's right there isn't one.

How disingenuous. Favored meme of the GOP but completely ridiculous nonetheless.

What about the bipartisan gang if six plan? You know, the one Standard and Poors gave a AAA rating safe to as well. Why doesn't the GOP support that one and table it since it cuts the most and enjoys bipartisan Senate support as well as the WH giving it better odds of passage?

Screw Gang of Six. Go6 plan was based on the GOP leverage to impose draconian cuts at the time. If Boehner can't even pass his plan out of the House, he needs Democrat votes, they have the leverage, the plan needs to be tailored to their demands, not teabaggers.

That's just words. Only the Republicans have put worth a plan in the form of legislation. Have the Democrats?

I suppose you're ignoring Reid's plan which saves twice the amount of money that Boehner's does.

Reid's plan includes 1 trillion of imaginary savings based on cuts from an imaginary "surge" of war spending over the next 10 years that is not written into law and has never been requested. No one ever planned to spend that imaginary money that he has chosen to cut and include as part of his plan.

And Ryan's deficit saving budget included the same thing. It was great when Ryan included it though. Why is that?

No, it wasn't great when Ryan's plan included it.

I understood that you were making the claim of Reid's cost cutting measures vs Boehners cust cutting measures. If that's not the case then I have no argument.

Edit: I see that it was constipated making the comparison.

Wasn't my comment. I was just pointing out the double standard that exists as usual. Not one GOP'er whined about that when Ryan gave his plan. They just touted the number including that part.

If they can keep coming out and including it when they promote the Ryan budget as a savings measure they can't dismiss it here as one.

So Reid's plan has twice the spending cuts when compared to Boehner's plan? That is very interesting, but I doubt it is accurate.......you probably meant to say that Reid's plan increases taxes much moreso than Boehner's plan.

Maybe I'm wrong though. Educate me.

Are you being obtuse intentionally? There's really no point spelling it out for you. Be a hack and believe what you wish.

Has there been a vote on a Democrat plan? Has there even been a Democrat plan put into a bill that has been brought before either house of Congress?

You can call that being obtuse if you want but I know of no Bill.

Republicans need to get onboard wih the democrats plan, also known as THE BIG DEAL, where everything is on the table, everyone gets pissed off, but something gets done.

THE BIG DEAL
THE BIG DEAL
THE BIG DEAL
THE BIG DEAL
THE BIG DEAL
THE BIG DEAL
THE BIG DEAL
THE BIG DEAL
THE BIG DEAL
THE BIG DEAL

THAT is the Obama plan dumb ass!!!

You asked about tabled bills and votes? Again. Asked and answered.
