Dishonored - 8.5/10 One of only a handfull of games i played through twice...first play all sneak, second play all death....and i loved the bonus content, reminded me of the bonus content in arkham city.

Sniper Ghost Warrior - 4/10 what a horrible game...i know its old, but my god, it was horrible....I've never laughed so hard after finishing a game...thats why it gets a 4 and not worse.

Borderlands 2 - 9.5/10 first playthorugh was solo....Now i'm doing TVHM with my bro and I can't believe how much funner the co-op is and I loved my first playthrough....i cant wait to get back to eridium so we can do the Lord of the Rings Geary quest.

Assassins Creed 3 - ?/10 just finished sequence 4 and the jury is still out on a rating...kind of a slow start but im diggin the forest area, doesn't seem to be as much "extra" content as the previous games...so far, i've mainly just done story missions and I love all the tedious extra crap games like this have to offer.

I forgot about dishonored - played it just before tomb raider:

Dishonored - 9/10: Unlike tomb raider I thought this game was very well done providing a more open approach per area with user defined strategy. The balance seemed a bit off in some places (not in a major way) and the game was rather disappointingly short but otherwise highly recommended.

Star Wars the Old Republic - pc - 7/10 I actually played at launch for awhile, then stopped my sub. Got in the mood to play it again, so resubbed. I like mmo's, but I hate anything related to end game. I hate pvp. I loathe rading. And, I don't mind hitting up dungeons, but I dread the thought of grinding dungeons over and over again. So, I usually play an mmo till I hit the level cap, and then either start a new character, or quit the game.

So, most of the criticisms of the OTR don't really affect me at all. And, it caters towards my interest quite a bit (each class has a different main story. My only gripe is that I'm still doing the same old side quests with each play through. I can see myself playing this for another month or two, before dropping my sub again. I've certainly gotten more play out of this game than most mmo's, anyway, counting both times I subscribed.

Neptunia 3 Victory - ps3 - 8/10 - I doubt most regular gamers would rate the game nearly so high. But, I'm a sucker for anything turn based. There seems to be alot fewer game system references this time around, other than the world itself and the characters living in it being a giant gaming reference. (but I'm still early in the game). Either that, or they are more obscure this time around (or I've gotten alot more stupid). This game does appear to be much more challenging than the previous 2. I don't remember getting any game overs this early on from the first 2, and I've gotten like 4 so far, and 1 of them from just a regular encounter too.

DOA 5 - PS3 - 8/10 - my playing of the game had already tapered off a good bit, but some friends and I went out to eat last Saturday night, and then came back to my place and we ended up playing for a bit later. I've always liked doa for the fact that newbies can get on it and have fun, and more serious players can get more in depth with the game.

I should note that I tend to like 3d fighters alot more than 2d fighters. I'll play DOA, Virtua Fighter, Tekken, and Soul Caliber for days on end. About the only 2d fighters I like are Blazblue, and Persona 4 Arena.

Baldur's Gate 1 Enhanced edition - PC - 6/10 - Troubled on where to rate that game. I'm a fairly lazy gamer, now that I'm getting older. So, anything that keeps me from having to download whatever fan patches that are needed to make the game playable today, is welcome, and I don't mind paying a few bucks for it. Of course, nowadays, I think of BG1 is nothing more than an intro, to be able to get to BG2, where the real game is. If/when BG2 enhanced edition comes out, I'm sure I'll buy it, and rate it higher.

Crysis 2 7.5/10: I only dabbled in Crysis 1 back in the days because it ran too slow on my PC. With my new rig I played Crysis 3 and enjoyed it for what it was (8/10 in OP). This got me to check out Crysis 2 which I heard is supposedly better than 3.

I'm about 8 hours into it. It feels bit repetitive. I've been fighting the exact same infantry all day (CELL troopers) with few Selph warriors here and there. When the hell does it get more interesting?

Crysis 3 had plenty of interesting scenarios with lots of vehicle levels & lots of varied enemies. Also it had tons of alien weapons as well as the bow.

Crysis 2 is feels really vanilla. Just 1 machine gun, 1 shotgun, & 1 mounted gun all game so far. It's still fun I guess because it satiates my desire to shoot at things vs playing DOTA.

I'll finish this game soon. But so far I don't see how people say C2 is better than C3.

Bioshock Infinite 10/10 - Best game I've played in a few years

X-Com Enemy Unknown 9/10- Got it with the bioshock pre-order and very happy I did. Enjoyed it a lot

Spec Ops: The Line - Also came with the bioshock pre-order...still playing so won't rate but I can't say I'm loving it.

Arcania: Legends of Setarrif (aka Gothic 4 expansion) 3/10 - Cheap hack job. Avoid.

PAth of Exile 7.5/10 - I've stopped playing it but for those that enjoyed Diablo 1/2 this is probably the next best thing imo.

For Heart of the Swarm, were you rating single player or multiplayer?
I really dont have the skills for online, but I was only mildly impressed with the single player.
I would give it maybe 6 of 10.

I was trying to consider both.

I found the missions of the single player campaign funny, but the dialogue and cutscenes cringeworthy and the plot a big "f*** you" to SC1.

But I also appreciate how HotS has revived the SC2 multiplayer community as well as the new multiplayer features they added. Although, I don't really care too much for any of the new units.

Just Cause 2 7/10: I've constantly heard it's a mindless fun game. So I grabbed it. This game is 3 years old already? Runs smooth like a motherfvcking butter on my budget rig (i3-2120, HD-6870).

The game is fun I guess? It doesn't satiate the violence cravings I get from playing FPS. But the physics is quite hilarious and the vast open world is quite fun indeed.

It is a good pick-up-and-go game when I get sick of serious games like Dota.

Dawn of the Dragons mobile 9.5/10: Think Mob Wars but in a MMO RPG style like world of warcraft. The hook is that you will level with quests, raids and PVP that uses stamina and energy. You build your player with armor and a legion that has generals and troops. Raids, questing and PVP use up the stamina and energy and once it is low you have to wait for it to build up with a timer. When you level, stamina and energy will recharge full. Each time you level you get service points (SP) to deiced how to build your player. You build up stamina, engery, health, attack, defense or perception. Once you get deep into the game you find yourself looking to build differ gear sets depending on raiding, questing or PVP. There is a guild feature that is built to the game with chat and guild raids. The guild I joined is high end and very helpful. The only draw back to the mobile is a limit of 50 raid at a time. The facebook version has no limit.

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones- 8/10 It's not as good as the first fire emblem in terms of story line. The fact you can continue after you beat the game is great. You can also get characters that died in the story line on the enemy side after you beat certain dungeons.

Assassin Creed III- 7/10 This game had really good graphics, that being said i probaly would have not played this game had a digital download code come with my graphics card and Samsung 840pro. It got boring at the end.

Bioshock 1 - 8/10 Yup, just picked up this 'oldie' in a combo pack. The atmosphere and story is amazing. The setting is so... unique and creepy. The characters are memorable. But I have to take 2 off because of the combat. It's probably because it's an older game, but the clunkiness between using plasmids/melee/gun is just annoying. I can understand if they made a limitation for 1+1h usage and 2h guns or something, but having to switch between powers on my left hand and a pistol on my right feels like it really slows down the game.

Far Cry 3 - 7/10 Beautiful game. Almost no glitches or bugs I could find. Well done combat and I loved the extra detail they added to game with things like fire and smoke. But side quests got boring quick and the main character is annoying. And FPS games without an additional motivator rarely keeps my interest for long.

AC III - 6/10 This game kept my interest purely from the side mission/events. I loved the naval combat. I loved building my homestead. I liked hunting and finding treasure boxes early on and I sort of liked crafting. But combat was... nothing memorable. My main gripe is still the fact that I never feel like an assassin. The only thing even remotely stealthy is the rare bush/wheat-pile kills. On top of that, the main character sucks. Not just annoying, but straight up unlikable. It's tough to follow Ezio's charisma, but having a raging native american that constantly finds himself outwitted by everyone seems like they didn't even try.

Remember Me- 9/10
(PC version)

Absolutely stunning graphics, fun game-play,and the power to make you forget what day and time it is.

(It's addictive..)

(Sunday @8 AM? Thursday @7 PM? Tuesday @ 1 PM? No idea.)

Took 1 point off since some parts are a little challenging..
(Actually,I'm not that good).

Far Cry 3 9/10
Beautiful semi open-world game with RPG elements with LOTS of freedom how you can play it. Fantastic!!

Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon 7.6/10
Cool, crazy, fun but doesn't come close to Far Cry 3. For the price, a good game.

Tombraider 9/10
Superb game all-around

Bioshock Infinite 6.5/10
Overrated game, too linear, had some cool elements but otherwise not that great as many think.

Best game overall from those: FC3, will probably get Ziggy's Mod and play again after I finished FC3 Blood Dragon.

Tropico 4 - 6.5/10
It's basically more of Tropico 3 (which I liked). My main issue with it was the repetative use of islands for the missions. I think they reused at least 4-5 of the islands over 20 missions. I also dislike the traffic AI. I can't seem to figure out how they determine their path so I always end up with traffic jams.

Tropico 4 Modern Times - 8/10
Made some nice additions to the game which I thought made it a little more fun.

I only play one game at a time.....which is probably stupid, but that's what I do.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution 7/10

I 40 hours into this game and it's ok. Just ok. I guess I had higher expectations. I guess I wanted it to be more shooter than it really is. It's more sneaking/stealth. I'm hoping the storyline picks up speed because so far it just hasn't been that engaging.

Graphics are good, artwork is beautiful, but the facial animations are weak.

I just beat Bioshock infinite last night, I'd give it a 9/10.

I don't mind it being linear considering it's a heavily story driven game, I would have given it a 10/10 if they did away with the dumb "you can only carry two guns because it's more realistic" thing. Plus the re-spawn is still stupid in it, I'd rather have a regular old style save system.

I would go 8/10 the Mindless fun is way to true. Its weird when I play i know its just that, mindless, but other then a few "chase" missions i love the game. I feel i shouldnt like it as much as I do. I was hooked when i was destroying bases.. 95% destroyed.. never left one that wasn't 100% MOFO must go down..

but.. then again I loved EDF2017 (100% mindless fun) and BulletWitch (i can almost hear the gasps)..

i had to pick one game in the last fiew years...

L4D2- have an embaressingly high number of hours in it.. 9-10

definitely try out the multiplayer mod when they have a beta weekend. it's pretty awesome.

recently i played lego lotr. i'd give it a 7/10 also. It's a real polished lego game. great with local coop. works awesome with controllers. i didn't really like how both players would be on seperate quests at the same time. it just feels like you're both playing a single player game during those moments.

RAGE (PC version): 5/10 Nice graphics and smooth, uninspired but bug-free gameplay (except for one race where I fell off the track and got permanently stuck), plot sucked, and ending and ending "boss" fight (or lack thereof) was absolutely horrible as if they ran out of money and needed to ship it immediately. The story arc in the last few missions was too compressed... need to expand it or else let the player know about the final objective well in advance rather than spring it on them in the last mission. This is in complete contrast to say, Half Life 2, where your final objective is clear early on: you need to get to the Citadel and blow it up.
