 How do you look at the photos posted by NFS4 and the pics of the avalon and say that it's the same body?

And the last time I checked, Lexus still manufactures their cars in Japan--my gf's IS was assembled in Japan from 98% Japanese parts...

Dude you are an idiot. Not even close to being the same car. The Avalon is a FWD large sedan. The new IS is a RWD compact sedan.

Well I am glad I am not the only one that thinks it looks like a 4 door Scion TC. I will hold off final judgement until I see it in person but I am little disappointed.

WTF are you talking about?

You are saying that the pictures I posted are the Avalon. It's isn't. You'd have to be on crack to think that they are.

The pics I posted in the original thread are of the new IS250/IS350 which will be unveiled on Tuesday of this week.

The IS along with every other Lexus model is built in Japan (with the exception of the RX330 which is also built in Canada).

Thank you for saying it so perfectly. I was beginning to lose neurons trying to wrap my brain around TheMessiah's screwy logic.

my friend all I m saying is that they use the same body not the same fiaca or else they would be the same car....

Like all the others I've mentioned. So you telling me an a jetta is not an A4, or or the civic 4 door is not the Acura TSX, or or the Nissan Armada is not the Inifiti QX...

WTF is fiaca?

No, not the same body. Are you talking about panels? Definitely not. Are you talking about chassis? Still, the answer is no. You are just wrong.

Dude, you need some help.

The Avalon shares a platform with the Toyota Camry and ES330, not the IS. The IS is RWD, The Camry and ES330 and Avalon are FWD. BIG DIFFERENCE.

The A4 shared nothing with the Jetta except for the 1.8t engine. Totally different platforms. The Jetta's closest Audi relative is the Audi TT and A3.

The Civic = Acura RSX, not the Acura TSX

The only thing you got right was the Armada and the QX56.

Time for baby to go to bed

WRONG you crackhead.

The old Chevy Prism and the old Toyota Corolla were one in the same. Not the Malibu.

Give it up, you have no clue as to what you're talking about
