A noose? lol

It will be pretty embarrassing for duncan and parker. Could be an old pic but just posted somewhere? Looks like it was in someone's home. Not that this will stop stern from hating on it...

Duncan's hands look huge in that pic.

It must be a Halloween party at one of their homes, someone must have dressed up as Crawford as his Halloween costume... pretty witty costume and on topic imo... specially since its done in a private setting.

I don't get all the blame on Gasol.. they had the lead when Gasol got benched! Blame D12 for bricking all those FTs

Why? Crawford is actually a good ref and doesn't put up with the BS antics.

Are you kidding me? He routinely thinks he's the star of the show with his crazy technicals and antics on court. The guy is just a ref, his only job is to make sure the rules are followed, not to be a sideshow circus.

And all the crazy techs he hands out when he feels his ego has been bruised (see Duncan getting thrown out for laughing on the bench as one example).

Crawford got b!tch-slapped pretty well after he tossed Duncan out. He had to eat sh!t to return or choose retirement...he ate sh!t. He's still over the top but not as bad imo. I've seen him make some really sh!tty calls, but overall I have the impression he's respected as a ref.

Sounds like the Lakers front office could be starting to choke over their decision to hire D'Antoni over Jackson, choosing run and gun over controlling the half court offense.

Just what everyone has said appears starting to come true. Their defense sucks bad and they're sounding too old to run D'Antoni's system, or lack of:

Pau Gasol continues to struggle this season amid the change of the Los Angeles Lakers.

On Sunday, Gasol did not score in the second half and missed all four of his shots.

Gasol was benched in the fourth quarter again for Antawn Jamison.

"Put your big boy pants on. Just adjust," said Kobe Bryant. "You can't whine about it. I'm 34 years old. I'm running screen-and-rolls out there. Steve [Nash] is out and my [tail] is running up and down the court more than I have my entire career. You have to adjust to it. I stay after practice and work on my ball-handling, my screen and roll."

"We just have to be a more dynamic team," said Mike D'Antoni. "We're slow right now. Athletically, we're struggling against young teams that just run up and down."

And unless they make some trades, they won't be getting younger anytime soon. :colbert:

They had a poorly constructed team no matter who was coaching. Trade Gasol for Josh Smith and Kyle Korver and the Lakers are 20 wins better.

That would give the hawks something for nothing instead of watching smith walk in free agency, but gasol @$19m is way overpaid.

Gasol has one more year on his contract. He makes the same amount as Josh Smith plus Korver, so they would be breaking even on their total salary if that trade took place.

Gasol can bring the Hawks an elite player that they have been lacking. Don't let the Lakers' misuse of him fool you, he can still be dominant as his play this past summer in the Olympics proved. His style of play should allow him quite a few more years than most big guys before he starts to break down.

All in all, even at $19m he isn't any worse for the Hawks than the Smith/Korver combo. I don't see any other marquee free agents on the horizon for the next summer that they would really be in play for either. I really think they would be a better team with Gasol, especially pairing him with Horford.

Spurs strikes again... Spurs' Stephen Jackson fined $25,000 for threatening Thunder's Serge Ibaka in Twitter post - He tweeted - "Somebody tell serg Abaka. He aint bout dis life. Next time he run up on me im goin in his mouth. That's a promise. He doin 2 much.''

Maybe something related to this picture?

wow, this season spurs is making a LOT of news... 1st getting in trouble with Dictator David Stern, then the Halloween goof and now this... I like them more now!! Go Spurs Go!!!

Damien Lillard tore shit up last night. I may not be thrilled about the Blazers' roster as currently assembled (the only player on the bench who should be in the NBA is Leonard and he's very raw), but golly, did they make a good pick in drafting Lillard.
