If everyone starts pointing guns at cops when they come to the door they won't stop coming to the door they'll just use the full paramilitary approach instead.

I'm all for holding bad cops to account but treating them all as the enemy isn't the way to fix things.

in fact a lot of military veterans end up as law enforcement officers after they leave the military

Not ordinary 'citizens' at all, frankly. Where do you think all the animosity comes from? Simply because of their job? No it's deeper than that. Modern LEO are absolutely not ordinary citizens.


Ordinary citizens cannot shoot someone simply walking towards them "because someone with a knife 30ft away can sprint towards me and kill me in 4 seconds so anyone who is within 30ft = good shoot"

Ordinary citizens can not walk inside a fenced yard for no justified reason and shoot people's dogs.

Ordinary citizens are not de facto believed by judges.

Absolutely not. I give LEO's my full respect when they present themselves appropriately - IE knock on my door, announce themselves, pull me over for a justified reason etc.

This was not a LEO knocking on a door. This was a gang member entering a gated yard, then immediately shooting a family dog. If they weren't comfortable entering the yard then they should call animal control or other officers for backup. Not just immediately whip out penis #2 and start stroking the trigger.

Have you ever dealt with an eviction? My last eviction took over two months. It was a HUGE process. The sheriff didn't show up during the first scheduled removal date because he supposedly had to deal with arresting someone he caught with pot. He made me wait almost 3 hours.

Most street cops make $60-$80k/year. That's $30-$40/hour.

From an officer perspective an eviction is not at all time-sensitive. Almost all LEO's in this country are paid hourly. Who cares if they twiddle their thumbs while the taxpayer shells out an extra $40 for an hour of waiting for animal control?



You're telling me that this dog's life is worth less than $40.

Our dog is our family member. Our back yard is fenced. I am a law abiding tax paying pillar of my community.

If ANYONE came into my fenced back yard and pointed their gun at my dog I would assume they are a thug trying to perform a home invasion and would respond as such.
