Hecarim, the Shadow of War

    Warpath (Passive) – Hecarim ignores unit collision and gains attack damage equal to a percentage of his bonus movement speed.
    Rampage – Hecarim cleaves nearby enemies dealing physical damage.
    Spirit of Dread - Hecarim deals magic damage to nearby enemies for a short duration. Hecarim gains health equal to a percentage of any damage those enemies suffer.
    Devastating Charge - Hecarim gains increasing movement speed for a short duration. His next attack knocks the target back and deals additional physical damage based on the distance he has traveled since activating the ability.
    Onslaught of Shadows (Ultimate) - Hecarim summons spectral riders and charges forward, dealing magic damage in a line. Hecarim creates a shockwave when he finishes his charge, dealing additional magic damage to nearby enemies causing them to flee in terror.

Annie

    Pyromania now works like other charged passives (activating a spell with the stun no longer builds a charge, but number of charges required to energize reduced to 4 from 5)

Akali

    Base armor increased to 20 from 17
    Base health increased to 530 from 510
    Fixed a bug where Shadow Dance's recharge time wouldn't update with new ranks or cooldown reduction until reaching full ammo charges (3)
    Fixed a bug where Twilight Shroud was not applying assists properly

General

    Champion XP/Gold Rewards
        Champions gain more experience for killing higher level champions (especially 2 or more levels) but less experience for killing lower level ones
        Maximum bounty for killing a champion on a long killing streak increased to 600 from 500
        Experience split when two or more champions are present increased; situations with two or more champions splitting experience now earn 30.4% more total experience than solo, up from 26.1%
    HP and MANA regen rates are now displayed on your HP and Mana bars
    Minion health bar toggle is now bound to Ctrl+L by default (instead of L)
    Monster regeneration sigils now restore up to 40 mana (from 30)
    Added floating status text (for example "Snared!") to some spells that were missing it (like Cassiopeia's Petrifying Gaze), and removed it from displacement effects that didn't need it (like Gragas' Explosive Cask)
    Fixed another bug causing double kills against targets like Kog'maw (Icathian Surprise)
    Added the rules for making a Summoner Name to the Summoner Creation screen when new accounts log into PvP.net for the first time

        Added animated text for all damage done
            Damage is now colored depending on what type of damage it is.

The spot light makes Hecarim look weak as shit. He's like skarner but worse in almost every way. Either way I'll probably get him as he's in my role, I'll update with my thoughts later.

Yea I tried him too with boots of speed, triforce, frozen mallet and lich bane. Pretty redonkulous.

The way Phreak built it up a few days ago I thought Teemo was getting some pretty significant buffs, not 2 bugfixes and 1 reduction of CD time on 1 spell :(

Anyways from what I've played on Hecarim he really doesn't need much more aside from T-Force for damage output, rest is just being stubbornly difficult to kill (and then ending with an Atmas if you're capping out an item build).
Edit: Actually something that slipped my mind is that Gunblade would be pretty decent on Hecarim as combined with his W he'd have some pretty nice sustain as well as a target slow for chasing/escaping but mostly for helping your allies who can't keep up :p

And comparing him to Skarner isn't all that accurate, or that far off. Both of them have an aoe spam Q that encourages the T-Force on them; and both of them sort of serve the purpose of a tanky initiator. But the way they go about it is way too different for me to really say they're similar, Skarner is a strong ganker and is better during laning phase while I'd say Hecarim is a better team disruptor and therefore much more potent after laning phase is over.

Also @ Impulse: Why the heck did you get a T-force and a lichbane? o__O

Why not? It gives movement speed, MR, AP and a bonus on your autoattacks. There may be better items, but I was just playing around to see. He can chase people down pretty well. I followed that up with a frozen heart.

Because Lichbane and T-force don't work together? I'm not sure how it'd decide when have both but the enhanced auto attack will only add the damage from 1 of them, not both. Therefore it's an immensely expensive way to get a little MR, AP and movement speed. (And if for your tests both work together I'd attribute it to a bug since they were never intended to work together).

just did a bootless hecarim build and DESTROYED... a bunch of bots :)

well it was 3v5 as two people from my team dropped out once they reached level 10.

Bots seem to have been buffed decently again this patch as well. They don't tower dive stupidly or chase nearly as stupidly anymore. So much harder to get early kills against them.

But I did start with tier 1 boots on hecarim. Just sold them later after getting 2 phantom dancers. With movement speed bonuses from runes and masteries I was still hitting 460 movement speed without boots.

Warmogs, 2 Phantom dancers, Frozen Mallet, Atmas, and Maw of Malmortius was just sick. With a green pot I'm hitting 98% crit chance. 300+ AD. 150 armor and 100+ MR. 4.6K hps as well.


Oh, and Hecarim + Orianna is just plain silly combo.

Cutlass worked out pretty damn well for me, that target slow + lifesteal + ad was pretty useful. Never made it into a Gunblade but just grabbing that pretty early was pretty awesome. T-Force, Warmogs, FoN, Mercs, Maw was too much for them to deal with though :p

Had a really bad game after that where my whole team did troll picks though ;~;

Also digging the Swain buff

i played 1 game, blind pick, went jungle, and did pretty damn well. got counter jungled a decent bit but was 5-3-2. somehow even with first blood, all of our lanes got raped. i guess 3 free dragons helped them :\

Damn that last game last night was frustrating. Think you might kill Annie or Vayne? No! Shen shield and he's there! Then Lee Sin comes flying in out of nowhere with his shield. Soraka pops a heal and buffs armor! And additionally Vayne can disappear for short periods every so often and Annie has her own shield! Fffffffffffffffffff.

yeah that was super annoying. I really hated the Shen shield because we had 3 more kills on Vayne if he doesn't pop in and I chose that game to experiment with heal/ignite instead of flash/heal on Tristana. Add in the fact that we were derping around in the enemy jungle so they hit level 2 before I had 1/4 of a level and we had some problems.

I did a couple of Tribunal cases today and two of them only had 2 reported games. Doesn't seem like two bad games is enough to condemn a player to being banned. Especially for something like bad language. Maybe if both games were serious feeding/trolling with no room to question it.

I had to laugh when one of the reporter's comments was "Morg called us a noob."

I have to ponder why 2 reported games is enough to go to tribunal and puts in doubt that whole system.

Also, is anyone still using the Vent server? I'm never on it, and apparently it doesn't keep stats. If no one is using I'm going to get rid of it for now.

Especially when as a very laggy Ashe (major packet loss - in fights everyone was warping all over the place and abilities were delayed a second after I hit them, and I said I was going through it throughout the game) you go 6/3/18. Also 2xDblades is not enough lifesteal according to the pro Riven I had on my team.

Lifesteal Quints are next OP. The sustain they offer with proper masteries and 2xDblades is insane. You don't need BT. I can run Riven in the jungle, start Dblade and not loose HP through multiple full clears. I love it.

Lol. Last night I got called a noob and that I didn't know how to build Anivia (of all chars). Apparently since I was the only one who didn't feed (and also didn't have anything but assists) I wasn't pulling my share.

Blind pick. Tried to do the AD build on Kog last night with Lantern/IE/TF etc. Got Lantern/IE and still got ganked/raped. score 0/4/0. Team, as obvious, started with their names. Got pissed, rebuilt to AS/AP with Bers boots, malady, wits end/madred's, phantom dancer and raped everyone in sight. Ended up 23/4/21 with a victory.

I've never been able to do that AD build everyone talks of. I'll stick to AS/AP thank you.
