im watching guardsman bob play darius..and granted he's fed a bit, but jesus he's just raping people.

i imagine darius' skill damage and AD scaling will be toned down a bit. his ult can do up to 1270 + 0.75AD if you have max stacks. that's INSANE.

To me it doesn't seem like the damage from his scaling is the problem, it's the damage from his stacks. I think Wit's End will be core, then stack defensive items run around team fights get stacks-> Q. That seems to be the most effective way to build him. Also that pull is beast.

That thing is an aoe non-skill shot, non-ultimate pull. That looks like one of the most OP moves in the game. Judging from the video the range doesn't look like it's terribly short either.

It's best over walls in places like the ramp from purple side to drag. It's range is short but it brings people over walls, also you can ward bait baron with it. I did that in my game. It's really good.

His only real issue is mobility and range, he has no gapclose but he has a ton of damage output early on, and has decent enough scaling to keep it going all game.

1270? Looking at his stats at lvl 3 ult it says 370 + 20% per stack for a max of 740.

If you've never played games of this genre then you'll suck for a long time. Reading up on the heroes and items and strategies will help you only so much as nothing compares to in-game experience. There are so many nuances and tricks and synergies that you can't learn through simple reading. It's daunting but the game is fun once you get over the learning hump.

They didn't fix normal draft, my friends and I are still getting the top three slots every single time. And only your party creator is supposed to have a chance to be first pick, but we've all gotten it.

It will require more than a weekend to see any significant improvement. The learning curve on these types of games are insanely high. It is part of the draw.

So Darius is bugged. If his ult doesn't kill someone but another teammate kills the target within 1-2 seconds, the ult still refreshes.

i saw +830 on leaguecraft..maybe that's max total damage (not including the AD bonus). still that's a crapton of TRUE damage. or maybe they have it listed wrong

and apologies to delusion for me blowing chunks last night.. i haven't played in weeks!

Yeah, LoL's website has it as:

Leaps to target enemy champion and strikes a lethal blow, dealing 160/250/340 (+0.75) true damage.

For each stack of Hemorrhage on the target, Noxian Guillotine deals an additional 20% damage.

But whatever, I agree, the fact that it's true damage is huge.

It's not so bad based on the damage it does. Cho's Feast is 300/475/650 (+0.7AP) true damage. It's ridiculousness is that it refreshes on a kill and so can be used multiple times in a team fight.

I had to put in probably 30-50 hours before I started to get the hang of it. Outside of games like Starcraft, LoL has one of the biggest learning curves I've ever seen. You kind of have to force yourself to play it for a while, even if it doesn't seem fun. Once it all clicks, though, it's by far the most rewarding, fun game I've ever played. Be patient, do your best to learn as much as you can, be dedicated, and don't give up!

It took me over a year of Dota before I was really comfortable with the genre outside of -em games.

I wouldn't call it OP but it is certainly one of the more powerful execution style ults. The tremendous animation and mana cost early on keep it under control imo.

I still stand by his only weakness being mobility, watched Wingsofdeathx's stream and he seems to have come to the same point that I did: complete boss in lane phase, then just drops off unless your team is somewhat built around him.

An ult that can deal almost 1000 true damage that, if it kills, has an instant reset on its cooldown? Not to mention it has a bit of range instead of being a pure melee move. If it dealt true damage but didn't have the cooldown reset, I could understand that. A reduction in cooldown would be OK, but not a reset. Or, if they left the cooldown reset, it shouldn't deal just true damage.

I'm not saying this as someone who was angry playing against a Darius. I bought him and had a chance to play him. I was having a terrible game, but once I was a bit built...his ult is lol worthy for being so OP.

His ult can only really do a huge chunk of damage if you're able to get stacks of your passive on the target. He excels at 1v1 and just tunnel visioning 1 target and taking them out of a fight but I still think due to his lack of any real mobility he'll have a hard time getting stacks on someone to ult them.

Don't get me wrong I love playing him, but if I ever seriously wanted to win a game I wouldn't really consider using him unless my team was built around me.

Me and Prizmm played the funniest kill lane bot tonight. We played Xin, Wukong and just completely stomped a bunch of plats. The armor shred with the dual all in is insanely funny and strong against squishy lanes.

I liked what my friend ran more, Xin Zhao + J4, aka the Demacian Spearmen Combo!

Like the Wukong combo it has % armor shred BUT it can apply it to both targets, also has a knock-up which Wukong lacks till 6, Demacian Standard also makes Xin hit faster and be tankier due to increase in armor, and just looks really cool :p
