Their Slaw is goooooooood! I remember tryin the Slaw at Popeyes and being flabbergasted by the chopped up pickles in it.

I also love the Popcorn Chicken, I might have to go tonight and get some Popcorn Chicken, 3 biscuits and a family sized Cole Slaw.

I swear they put crack or msg in that thing. I can't get a large because i'll down the whole thing in one sitting.
 
No, everytime I eat there, there's a problem. Credit card machine doesn't work, they're out of some form of chicken, they're out of containers, their drink machine is broken.

Every one I've been in is pretty dirty, their chicken coating tastes like peppered dough, and it's way over priced. I like Popeyes a lot better.

Hell yeah it's awesome. The only thing it's missing is the Japanese rice cooker at its buffets. If they had that, and maybe some hot sauce, I'd be about 20lbs heavier. I would love some fried skin rolls(rice wrapped in fried chicken skin) right now.

Up here in iglooland, they have always have a massive ad campaign around the day, including some kind of "Mother's Special".

My old roommate, who worked there during high school, said it was their busiest day of the year.
 
Ask for a #10 with mashed potatoes and macaroni with the chicken dipped in the fiery buffalo sauce.....MMmmmmmmm

No. Popeye's tastes and feels like the chicken is run through a parts degreaser before being rolled in bland batter and deep fried. KFC is better than Popeye's. Wendy's fried chicken patties are better than either KFC or Popeye's.

Edit: Chick-fil-a is also better than Popeye's.

Edit again: Hell, McDick's is better than Popeye's.

But it appears that more people agree with me that Popeye's is better than KFC 😛
 
Yes, I like KFC, but I strip off the fried breading crap because I don't like it. Come to think of it maybe I should just stick with El Pollo Loco.
 
KFC wins on the flavor of the batter while Popeye's wins on freshness. But in reality, very few fried chicken places have a unique recipe/taste to offer like KFC.
