Not a big fan of fried chicken of any kind to be honest.

KT

I find this sentence difficult to comprehend.

Not sure what to tell you, I have just never found fried chicken that I really loved. I mean it's ok, but I would pick a dozen other methods of cooking chicken before fried.

KT

Lol, opinions can't be logically argued, 'tis true.

I've never made fried chicken myself in my life, nor, come to think of it, have I had the opportunity to partake of homemade friend chicken in years, but I have delightful gustatory memories!

"Properly" made fried chicken, i.e. not desecrated with a two inch thick coating of breaded crapola, may not be heart healthy stuff but it most certainly rocks my taste buds . . . yes it does, yes!

Living in Canada may have something to do with why I feel how I do as I think it rather difficult to find decent fried chicken up here, on the West Coast anyway.

Yeah, it's MUCH better in the Southern states, go figure. Same chain, just a different region.

Another things I've noticed in my travels is that just about every chain in the South prominently offers fried chicken, whether or not they do in other parts of the country or not.

KFC, blah...it never did anything for me except gave me deflation of the wallet.

I think we do have one that's not in the ghetto now.

We? Aren't you in NE? I just rembered one that was not in too bad of a place...Antelope.

No. No it is not.

And El Pollo Loco's mashed potatoes are so much better, they don't need to be covered in an gravy just to be edible the way KFC's are.

El Pollo Loco does not qualify as fried chicken. This thread is about Fried Chicken!

Yea but this is a fried chicken thread not a roasted chicken thread even though EPL is damn good. I could live off their chicken.

It's ok. Churches have Chic-O-Breasts sammiches and jalepeno cheese bombers, so that's usually what I get.

Popeyes chicken is better, but KFC's wings are pretty good, and their bowls are amazing
