Became? When was he not? I've only ever watched O'Reilly for its comedic value. He puts the bare minimum of thought into his viewpoints, and his show appeals to similar people.

When i first got back to the usa in 1996, his show was new. and it was good. he was intelligent, and unafraid to tell the truth about stuff other new channels would not.

when i moved back to nj from tn in 2000 he was starting to get full of himself.

after a while, he became sickening.

actually, believe it or not, he was somewhat tolerable. while i was flipping from MSNBC to ESPN i have to pass by fox news. one night last week, when they were having the best of oreilly, i watched a little cause it looked like it was from 1998 or something. he was pretty level headed and had a powerful voice. very anti combative and anti oreilly of today. it was pleasant to watch for a few minutes. then sportscenter came back from commercial.

Good for MSNBC to give him almost eight minutes to set the record straight. So much news is delivered in a 30 second sound bite.

I must say, that is pure ownage if there ever was one. And I hate to use that word. Especially in a serious discussion as the one about our soldiers in WW2. Not a huge fan of Keith Olberman because I don't watch him, but I must say he was great. Bill O'Reilly is supposedly the all knowing uber host that never gets anything wrong and totally out-debates his guests.

Well, as Keith said, he was wrong twice and was wrong a third time in answering that letter from the viewer. Bill O'Reilly really needs to understand that sometimes he can be wrong too.

I don't have Fox News so I don't watch Fox News. But I used to.

Still, I don't even watch CNN and MSNBC anymore. But if I had to pick one, I would watch Fox because it is just more entertaining than the others.

meh, he looked falsely indignant in my opinion.... but whatever. at least fox and oreilly got pinecones shoved up their asses courtesy of msnbc.
