At the strip I would take a 03. At the road course I would take the R.

i need my air conditioning.

Yeah, but you ain't gonna use it on the road course! A helmet fan is the best you are getting.

no, this is texas, i'd still use it.

If it's any help, I know of a few people getting $21k quotes. Best I could do was $21,500, but I haven't bought the car yet.

The wing HAS to be like that for the downforce it needs.

That will teach you to not enter an argument that you when you don't know what you are talking about.

At least you were smart enough to check before you bought the car. Too many kids don't stop to think that the insurance payment, if paid monthly, will be equal to, if not more expensive than the car payment.

$2750 per 6 months is almost $460 a month. The car payment would be, oh, say $350 or so. $800-900 a month is insane just to drive around. I guess you'll be waiting a little while longer to get that RSX then, huh?

Hey, remember when you said Cobra-Rs cost $80-$90 Grand but in reality they cost $20,000 less? You were shut down SO many times in this thread that it's embarrassing.

They did cost 80-90k with the dealer markup when they came out. I should now since there were people who BOUGHT them and posted the invoice and pricing on the Corral among other forums. Where was a shut down a single time? I wasn't. Ah I missed you PowerMac, did your parents finally give you your computer back?

I'm not an English major, but I believe there is a difference between "cost" and "did cost." As for said shut downs, feel free to re-read the entire thread. Oh, and I missed you too Millenium.. especially your personal attacks. In fact, remember that one time you insulted me and the moderators had to shut you up? I stopped posting here mainly because it was slow-going with dialup, but I'm back now that I have broadband. And it already appears my knowledge of the automobile is greater than yours.

Allstate is the devil. I don't understand how they can still be in business with the ridiculous quotes they give people. I'm in my thirties, married with 2 kids, no accidents or tickets and they still quote me 2X anybody else.

'00 Cobra R's still sell for $90K as they are collector cars. Only 300 were produced. Even Viper\Ferrari guys give them respect and thats saying quite a bit.

As for the RSX have fun with it but please dont rev on a guy in a "breather modded" '03 Cobra because you'll get taught a severe lesson in torque like that kid who did it to me today. He did give me a "thumbs up" so maybe he was egging to see what I had. He did. The chip and pulley go on in a few weeks.

who the hell would pay 80-90k for a ford. who cares if its limited production, its still slower than the viper and z06. you can get such a nicer car for 90k...thinkin porsche.
