Pretty crazy, it's officially a green Christmas. A bit of snow on ground but it's mostly all melted.
Last time this happened was in 1998 if I recall.
Also just realized I totally forgot to get a topper for my new tree. The angel I had is too heavy. I might make a star out of card board for teh lulz. I was kind of late putting the tree up this year. I originally put my big one then changed my mind and got the smaller one. I had been eyeing one of those and figured I'd splurge.
Has been such a warm fall and winter that a bunch of trees in my neighborhood still have their leaves after Christmas. They're usually gone by the end of November.
Finally getting December temperatures, now that's it's January. Possibility of Snow this coming weekend. We've had none so far, so I haven't gotten a chance to try out my new snow blower (battery electric Ego that can really do zero turn radius).
Still warm for this time of year but definitely cooling down now after getting single digits for so long. It's also a different kind of cold, the type that goes right through you though.
Still not much snow on the ground either. It's been a weird winter so far.
