Just curious....how is the weather in your neck of the woods?

The supposed coldest weather of the season so far only barely happened. Only by a couple of degrees instead of the several degrees forecast. Forecast was about 5 degrees too low for this morning for example. They called for 23 and it only made it down to 28. Tomorrow starts the warmup again to mid to upper 50s for highs.

From the various news reports, the PNW is about to get hit with yet another "pineapple express" type of "atmospheric river." Here along the coast, we could get 4-5 inches of rain before it clears out next week...and the mountains could get several feet. I saw one report that said 4-6 feet of snow for Stevens Pass. (north of Seattle) Of course, I have to drive the 75 miles each way to Olympia on Wednesday...but thankfully, that's not one of the wettest days. I think that's Monday. Forecast is for something like 2 1/2" of rain Monday/Monday night.

It's kinda chilly in my room during the day. Weirdly, night is much warmer where I'm almost tempted to turn the AC on. I think this is the first December I've experienced this issue in the last 15 years in Abu Dhabi. We humans have messed up the weather good

Winter is in full swing. City already started doing snow bank removal in some areas. I didn't even realize we had that much snow yet but it kind of creeped up since it was a little bit at a time.

A beautiful 85f with 70-80% humidity, if i had screens for the windows to keep the damn bugs out i wouldn't even use AC, hurricane season is over so it's smooth sailing for the next few months i hope.

I fckn H-A-T-E snow.

Here, we "survived" a "pineapple express atmospheric river," that dropped nearly 6" of rain in just a few days, now we have a much colder storm rolling through...low temps have dropped into the 30s where I lice, mu h colder (and snowier) in the Cascades.
It's been pouring on/off all day. We're supposed to get about 2.5" of rain total before morning.

Extremely rainy and windy this morning near Boston. My apartment lost power for a few hours. First time in 2.5 years here that we've lost power due to a storm. Temps are like spring: upper 50s/low 60s.

Also just got our first day of high levels of the bastard cedar pollen. To give an idea how nasty this stuff is December 2021 I was sure I had COVID but two PCR tests came back negative and it was this crap. Then a month later I was sure it was cedar pollen again making me sick as hell but nope COVID, with the exact same symptoms (throat felt like gargling razor blades, insane congestion, nasty week long headache) at the exact same strength. It's a question San Antonio residents have to ask themselves every December and January now: e.g. is it cedar pollen or COVID?

mid-40s to around 50 and drizzle. Lows in the low to mid 40s...until the weekend when it's supposed to drop to near freezing overnight...then back to what we have now. THANKFULLY, no snow forecast for Christmas week.

The storm that came through the North East earlier this week dumped allot of rain on NH (up to 5" in some places). Fortunately, we live on a bit of a plateau with good drainage about 150 ft above the Merrimack river - so no flooding for us. Sunny today and the next two days.

-12 feels like -18, then on weekend suppose to go in the pluses again... crazy temp swings. We might actually have a green Christmas. Last time that happened was in like 1998 or something. We only have a few inches of accumulated snow on the ground so far. Normally we'd have several feet by now.
