-5 feels like -12 with flurries. Really it feels more like -40 tbh. It's the kind of cold that just goes right through to the bone and everything you touch just feels so cold. Went outside for a bit a few hours ago and I've had chills since.

-17 feels like -27. Was out snow blowing and it kept coming in my face and fingers were frozen so gave up, will do it on a nicer day. That will probably not be tomorrow since it's suppose to go down to -23 with a "feels like" of -33.

So far this year, 4 months have finished 'below normal' and December is on track to make it 5.


Only one month was really 'above normal' (by about 5 degrees). The rest were above, but only by a degree or two and some had long stretches of days 'below'.

One period had us close to 30 degrees below normal for a few days.

The 'aboves' weren't as often, long or extreme, only hitting about 20 above for a few days.

This month, each day has been 10 below normal or more and the next weekend 12th-15th is forecast to be even colder.
