The early wintry blast hitting London and the region shut down school buses in Middlesex and Elgin counties on Tuesday morning, though city buses were still running.
Freezing rain warning, and big storm suppose to then move into Quebec into one of the regions we service. I have a feeling I might be doing some OT this weekend.
Just cool and drizzly...for a change, the "atmospheric river" has gone to California. Looks like the Los Angeles region has been getting its ass kicked. I expect stories about mud slides from the burn areas.
I just realized it's the Santa Claus parade today. That's going to be a shit show lol. It would be kinda hard to cancel/move an event like that too and notify everyone about it so the show must go on.
I plan to stay inside for the next few days, no use going out in that crap. I went out earlier to get a few things at the groceries and it's a skating rink out there. Driving is not so bad, it's walking. Getting in and out of house or car or walking on the driveway or parking lots etc. I bet the ER is busy tonight.
Snow continuing here, not falling supper hard anymore just flurries. Didn't get as much as was announced but it's slowly starting to accumulate. Should probably get the snow blower ready.
Pretty gross out right now. Was raining and now it's a really heavy wet snow that is somehow wetter than rain itself. Everything just gets soaked like your coat, hat, mitts etc. Driving is a little gnarly too, roads are greasy.
