Raining all day here and a high of 10C.

Winter comes roaring back Wednesday. Arctic air sweeps in during the afternoon dropping temps to -2C with winds around 70 to 90km/h.

Snow-squall watches and warnings will be in effect tomorrow all over Southern Ontario.

Getting some of that arctic blast down here too today.

Wind has knocked out power here twice in the past 3 hours. Glad I have UPSes on my electronics, heh. The wind isn't just howling, it's roaring and sounds like a nearby train when the gusts come.

Snow seems to have stopped, but forecast shows it will continue and we're still under a storm warning. Guessing it will ramp back up overnight.

It's only -1 though so not super cold. Trying to take advantage of these days to do work in garage. Getting very close to a point where I can start insulating the ceiling. If I can manage that before it gets too cold I can continue the rest throughout winter as it will at least keep some of the heat in.

Snow continues to fall. The picture doesn't do it justice but that section was a good 2 feet high, but the way it swirls around it's lower near objects so makes it look like it's not as much. That whole part of my house is a pain in the ass to maneuver the snowblower too since it's a tight area, so it took me a good hour just so I can get to a point where I can clear a path to take the garbages out for tomorrow. I didn't even do the whole driveway since it was just blowing all over my face and I may as well wait until the storm is done.

sitting at -2C not as windy as yesterday.

We didn't get much snow which I am happy about.

We are still under a snow squall watch for the time being.

Rain at this time of year just makes a huge mess and everything is gross and wet then it freezes over and makes all surfaces jagged and hard to walk on.

-8 with light snow now, the storm is mostly over but the wind is still crazy so it's blowing snow around. Took a good hour just to get the truck cleared enough to get it out of the driveway and then finish the rest of driveway.

Went through 3 batteries, normally I can get away with 2 with charge to spare. Snowblower takes 3 at a time. I can't imagine trying to do this without a snowblower. I used to... and it sucked.

Round 2 of winter storms starts tonight and continuing until Monday morning.

Supposed to get 10 to 15 cm of snow with possible freezing rain/rain.

Another messy Sunday again.

How could you ask for a better excuse for doing nothing but watching NFL football all day?

Cold, but dry. 36 degrees F right now.

Winter is not as advertised. I want a refund, and have summer back.

woke up to 4 inches of snow today.

Temps just below freezing means a snowy slushy mess out there.

Two weeks ago it was 77 .. record high for that date.

Today, it didn't make 37, only slightly above the record low high for this date.
