snowed the last 2 days. We have received about 12 inches of snow in total.

Today's snow was about 4 inches. It has stopped for now but it is cold.

Sitting at -13C at 6:40 PM.

Lol that applies here too. I hardly even get excited at celestial events because I know 95% chance I won't get to see it anyway. Northern lights is about as exciting as it gets here because they happen often enough that sometimes it lines up with a cloudless night.

Well, it cleared up. Just got in from standing in the snow with flannel pj bottoms and an m65 field jacket, and didn't see any meteors. Really pretty night, but the car dealer lights are fucking things up as usual, and it's damned cold. I'd love to be in northern Finland or something, where the only lights are coming from the stars, and northern lights. Living around other people sucks.

I guess we have another "pineapple express atmospheric river" coming in starting late tonight. Another 5-6" of rain possible.

-12C with storm warning, and suppose to go up to +2 tomorrow.

That's going to be a mess, but it will give me a day to work on the garage, so I'll take it. I'm almost done with electrical stuff and will be able to start sealing in the ceiling and once that's done at least heat will stay in so I can work on the rest.

hit 3C today and overcast.

Rain coming tomorrow followed by a frigid cold front Thursday night. Friday will be cold and snow-squalls in my area. Winter is back again.

Getting a big snow storm right now. Was not expecting that, I thought the warning got called off. Looked outside and was like FFS. I actually have to go to work today so I can't just wait for it to blow over, I'll have to go deal with that soon. Having to constantly take snow off the vehicle and then have to dig around it and try to get it out so I can do the driveway is honestly the more annoying part of winter.

-16 feels like -20. Snow storm is mostly done.

Plow went by this morning so had to snowblow that so I can park, and the wind made it super annoying. There's only one side I can realistically put snow and it's always where the wind is coming from. Did a section big enough to park, will do rest when wind calms down. Picture doesn't really do it justice, but part of that snow bank was twice as high as the snowblower intake. That's a standard size snow blower, it's electric but same construction as like a 24" Ariens.

The weather service cancelled the high wind warning that had been predicted. (thankfully) ATM, some light rain and very breezy conditions. We had a brief hail storm a while ago...lasted less than a minute.

80F = 17C leading up to the damn new year. Would be ok if it wasn't so humid; our low is 67F = 19C will full humidity at night so I have to run AC to pull water out of the air to sleep decent. Especially now entering the peak of the annual season Dec-Feb when all the male juniper ashei trees out here decide to bukkake our air with disgusting cedar pollen that legit makes you feel like you have COVID. Like legit I was 100% sure I had COVID in December 2021 when it felt like I was gargling razor blades and my sinuses felt like they had paint in them and even PCR tested twice negative so it was cedar fever. Then a month later same exact symptoms so I thought it's fucking cedar pollen again, nope PCR came back positive.
