A friend of mine wants to quit cigarettes and asked me what device to purchase. She will be new to this so recommending her my smok m80 box mod isn't such a good idea I think. What's a good friendly device she can start with? Its been so long since I've used anything other than a mod.

Probably something along the line of what Clamum picked up, I'd think.

Did some more looking and the Aspire Nautilus tank brought me to the Aspire Premium Kit.

This looks pretty great and as a side bonus I think the tank part of it will work with my existing two EVOD batteries. The kit is $5 cheaper at Sweet Vapes but MBV gives you 10mL of free e-juice so I'll try out their Raspberry flavor.

These guys have the set pretty cheap and where I have went for awhile I guess, but I haven't really been buying much myself lately.

Yup looks like it should do. We went on a few dates and she was always asking about my vape device and mentioned she wanted to try stop using cigs so I think I'll have her get that.

I know for a fact it would taste different for me to use that but I've been vaping for a while.

I also need to order a smok r80 TC because I think my m80 plus is broken..the pin that is suppose to make contact with the tank is now loose and I have to open it up and push it upwards a few times.

I do not have that kit myself, but I still love the little Mini Nautilus on a Spinner II adjustable as a lite weight walk around myself.

The kit looks even better than that, for the money. But I bought my Mini about the time they came out.

I was surfing the web, and found out there are vaporizers for cannabis. For the fun of it i am going to look what else is used with vaporizers.

vape pens for pot have been around for a long time. they use a hash oil. great way to get stoned with no stink or wait a hour for a edible to kick in.

I really like my Kanger Subox mini kit, and recommend it to anyone looking for their first vaporizer. They're about $60-$70 online and it has everything you need except a battery. Great instruction manual too.

http://www.kangeronline.com/products/kanger-subox-mini-starter-kit

My wife has an Innokin Cool Fire 3 (older model) and it's pretty nice too but it has a slightly cheaper feel to the buttons and case than the Kanger.

I recommend skipping over the pen-type vaporizers completely and going straight to a mod+sub-ohm tank setup.

Yeah I'd highly recommend the Aspire Premium kit. It works great and I have zero complaints on it. I don't know anything about the box mod stuff but I can say the Aspire setup is much better than my Kangertech EVOD setup. I just ordered more e-juice for this badboy this morning, actually, and some replacement coils cause it was 15% off for the first 200 orders (on Mount Baker Vapor; great site too).

MtBakerVapor is a good site with great prices. I used to get my one juice from them but it started tasting very different after a while so I stopped ordering juice from there. I do order coils there for my Atlantis because they have the best prices.

Nautilus Mini is *great* - for a week or so and then you need to replace cartridges since it will start to taste horrible/metallic.

If you like the Nautilus (because you like mouth to lung and it's just the right draw/air flow/taste) you really should check out the Kayfun Lite V2.

As for batteries, have a bunch of isticks, 30W and 40W and a Disrupter. I prefer the isticks, smaller, more convenient etc.

yeah, pretty sure vaporizers first came around for weed, and not tobacco. At least, I used a few more than 10 years ago, and I'm always late to such things :D

The ones that I have since used and owned were only for dry goods; never oil products.

ANd there are now plenty of small, battery-operated pen type vaporizers. I once owned a Buddha, which was pretty sweet (table top, plug in, nice ceramic filament), but now have some midrange pen thingy. It's not the best, and I think it is from China so my face might blow off, but it gets the job done so far.

Well, shit. I went to order some e-juice from Mount Baker Vapor since I'm running close to empty on my couple 236 mL bottles I had ordered from there a while back and now I find out they stopped selling those (they only sell in the 15/30 mL small bottles) and they stopped doing extra flavor shots! Apparently this is due to some idiotic FDA regulations but it still sucks. And their prices, at least for the several juices I was looking at, have almost doubled. Double you tee eff.

So I'm wondering if anyone knows of a quality place that sells e-juice in a little larger quantities. I hate to only buy it in 30 mL bottles cause I'll end up ordering them so frickin often. I guess I'll have to give up the extra flavor shots, which does suck because I find typical e-juice hardly tastes like anything at all.

I use vape wild their prices have not changed and their juice is ok. You can order greater than 30ml too. My local shop has stopped taking cards it's cash only so I usually go once a week or two to buy a 60 ml of juice from there.

I should check out a local shop too. I actually bought my eLeaf iStick 50W from there.

Those FDA regs are really gonna hurt businesses, I bet. A ton of comments left for MBV were people disgusted with the consequences of the regs and saying they're done with ordering from MBV. If people actually follow through I think they'll see a big hit. Oh but at least we'll all be safe from poisonous e-juice! Or something. I just feel better knowing some fine ladies and gentlemen at the FDA are lookin out for me. :kissing:

Yeah, the thousands and thousands of children dying every day from drinking e-juice... thank god we have the government "protecting" us.

Right! About time they came up with these regulations, too. I can't believe I haven't died already, ordering that non-regulated toxic poison from MBV for the past couple years or so. Now it'll be safe and I can rest easy. Plus, now with their age identification, the millions of children that have been ordering e-juice from there won't be able to.

The local shop is hurting too. Less people are there now and they have to charge to try juices. Plus their way of trying them sucks because you can never get the full taste from a small ego pen device.

Now I need to remember I need cash every time I go there. I wish vape wild had better juices for their prices. I order the same two each time because the free samples they send are not good to me.

Haven't been keeping an eye on this thread at all. I stopped all vaping a month ago. When I saw all the news articles about people getting sick and dying, I got a bit concerned. Although before this I vaped for 5 years and didn't have any issue.

Funny around the time the articles came out I started going to the gym in the mornings and noticed I was getting short on breath. Normally I'd work out after work and this never was an issue. So I decided to put my vape away and went with the 2mg nicorette gum.

I haven't even been chewing the gum much. My juice used to be 3mg and the gum does indeed work for me. I can go usually all work day without a piece as long as I have one in the morning. I'll usually take one at night too.

The worst is when drinking either alcohol or coffee I used to use my vape so that's still tough because you can't drink and chew the gum at the same time as it will just dilute the gum. So far so good but had these articles not come up, I probably would still be vaping.

Unless you were buying black market THC juice from dealers, I wouldn't worry about vaping killing you or giving you some lung disease. Last night I watched a review video from a guy on YouTube who's been vaping since 2009, and he looked pretty normal (granted, just one guy). Maybe I'm wrong and they'll find out soon that vaping causes AIDS, cancer, and ebola but I have a feeling it's not quite as lethal as the media is screaming about.

Yup I quit all together. It was around the time that everyone was getting sick off the vapes. Everything I used was custom and around that time, one day I remember my chest feeling a bit weird after running, it felt warm inside and kind of made me feel naseous.

I don't think it was related to the vape because I had been vaping the same juice for more than a year. I didn't usually run so when I did exert myself too much I think my lungs just freaked out.

But you know it was during that season where people were getting sick from vaping so I decided to stop and move to nicorette gum, 2mg.

I used that gum for 3-4 months and then around Christmas I went with my girlfriend and her family overseas to celebrate new years. I didn't have a piece of gum on the way back the whole 9-10hr flight so I decided I didn't need to pop one in and continued like that.

I'm completely smoke and nicotine free now. It's been over year or more by now. That damn gum helped me more than the vape. Probably because I enjoyed vaping and always did it at home pretty much all the time.

I quit altogether some time last year. I'd already been on zero nicotine for quite some time at that point (A year? Longer? I forget).

Been a few years here. Used to smoke, switched to vape, then got patches, and stopped altogether a few years back. I still allow myself 1 or 2 cigars a year, but, i dont make a habit of them.

I still vape. I quit cigarettes I think in 2016, after about a decade of a pack a day about.

I just kinda like it. It's a relaxing thing to do on a break every so often and I feel I'm in a pretty good spot health wise otherwise (yearly blood work always great, decent diet, hardly have sugar anymore, no pop, work out 3 days a week, don't drink anymore). I'm allowed one vice ain't I?
