It only has bite if people actually report the behavior, but most people have more integrity than to be a whiny snitch crying to mommy over nasty words on a screen.
Right. Additionally, it allows people like Cheese to show their true colors for who they really are.

I have an argument. His response to my argument, instead of levy a rational civilized response like an adult is instead to call me a nazi. It's not at all surprising.
That's a lie. He didn't call you a Nazi. Hey! Nazis lied a lot, too! Maybe you are a Nazi and just don't know it?

Sure does look pleasing to the compliance folks, but eh, it really hasn't had much bite. Launch your rockets back, if you feel the need. lol

oh look, the professed troll stopped by.

My true colors are worn proudly. Concealing motives is something you may have picked up from the Nazi's propaganda techniques, Conservatives certainly have.

I'm not a republican or a conservative or a Trump supporter, and people in this thread are losing their absolute shit calling me a nazi and a Trump supporter.

It says so much about you.

Sure you're not, lol. Totally believable. Barr distorted facts. Deal with it. Trumps a pathological liar. Deal with it.

I doubt very much that Congress members, individually, have the authority to declassify information. If it went through proper channels to become declassified, then we're good. If not, then they should be held legally accountable. :)
They don’t have the authority to declassify it, they are just immune from prosecution for disclosing classified information if they do so as part of their duties. Totally immune.

Does leaking information to the press constitute part of their duties? ;)

I see what you're saying, though. I'm sure there's a way to spin any action as "part of their duties" to be able to apply the immunity. Outrage of justice, for sure.

Did I refute either of those claims in this thread?

Please quote where I've said otherwise.

Right, you just spend countless posts obfuscating and rationalizing.

Listen man, conservatives round here did this last year. Some old story, different account. We call it getting Starbucked.

I don't care. None of that shit is relevant to me. Call me a nazi again. Call me a Trump supporter again. We disagree. A rational person would exchange reasoned arguments in a civilized manner. You're all up in here throwing dirt clods. If that's your idea of civilized conversation, I'll pat you on your head and watch you disrespect yourself. I'm okay with that.

Speaking of the McGahn case, looks like the judge’s ruling that kneecapped Congress has failed en banc review and the ruling was vacated.

You mean the House is doing exactly what PCBro said they weren't doing? Maybe he'll acknowledge that so that rational people can exchange reasoned arguments in a civilized manner.

While we're on the subject of Nazi propaganda technique we should note that Barr used one himself-

All this was inspired by the principle—which is quite true within itself—that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods.
It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying.

Finally, Barr ordered to release redacted portions of Mueller report.

Judge Reggie Walton ruled that parts of the Mueller report were improperly redacted by Barr — and Walton has ordered the DOJ to release those parts of the report before Election Day.

I'm sure Barr will wait until day before election day. Hopefully a copy will leak well before that so the contents can be disseminated. Now that the judge has ordered it's release should be legal to leak.

Was this the report where they did a really shitty job of redacting it so that you could actually see the redacted parts by just putting it in a word processor and undoing the blacked out text?

More fun from this case regarding the Mueller report. A few days ago, our resident 12D chess master tweeted that he "fully authorized the total declassification of any & all documents pertaining to the single greatest crime in American History, the Russian Hoax … no redactions!" So now the DoJ is having to explain why exactly Buzzfeed News shouldn't be handed the entire unredacted Mueller report upon their request.

Called it that the President declassifying the documents would fuck him more than Obama or Hillary.
Not yet proven they fucked themselves by not reading it but I highly suspect it
