This issue needs to be looked at further, the media needs to investigate everything, the numbers did not make sense on election night. Especially in Florida, where every single projection had it 49/49 or 50/49, not by the 5% margain that Bush won the state by. How can we be so certain that tampering did not occur, especially when the freaking president of the company that makes the voting machines affiliated himself with President Bush?
Would you conservatives have any qualms about it if the Deibold machines were made in Boston and that the CEO and Kerry were friends?

Making up facts does not strengthen your argument.

I'm not afraid of anything....well....spiders do freak me out a bit. I do know what you are afraid of......reality and the fact that your side lost.....again.

What I am SICK of is people like you, jpeyton, etc, etc, etc.....claiming that there is some grand conspiracy. You just won't accept that your side lost. Oh sure, you want to blame Bush for dividing the county, but the people that are TRULY dividing the country are the hate filled left who cannot face the reality that they are out of step with the vast majority of the country. Maybe their mommies breast fed them too long, who knows....whatever the case the left I see on here are nothing more than a collection of spoiled brats who pitch a hissy fit every time something doesn't go their way. Surely there has to be some sort of conspiracy since your side didn't win. Waaaaah waaaaah waaaaah!!! There are still people here who refuse to admit Gore lost in 2000. No matter that independent recount, after recount after recount showed that to be the fact. Now those same people are whining about Kerry losing even though it was by a much wider margin. When will you accept the fact that your guy lost, get over it, and move on?
Listen--obviously some fishy facts have surfaced. This is no "conspiracy theory." Major organizations are taking a look at what's going on here. I'm sorry you're against truth. I'm sure if you voted for Bush, and Kerry had won and fishy facts surfaced, you would start questioning it too.
Of course he wouldn't. He's not partisan at all. None of them are.

Pot meet kettle. Conjur, you have shown yourself to be incredibly partisan IMO and you accusing someone else of it is something I find quite laughable.

That being said, if there was widespread voter fraud...get it into the open and get the problem(s) fixed.

Those links are all to surveys before the election started. They are notoriously much less accurate than the exit polls which predicted a Kerry landslide for several reasons:

1) They only survey "likely voters" generally defined as people who voted in the last election. This pretty much eliminates the college age group which predominantly votes democrat.
2) The surveys are done over land telephone lines -- anyone who uses a cell phone exclusively -- primarily young people and blacks who mostly vote democrat -- is not included by these polls.
3) The surveys are conducted by major media companies which have Republican ownership, and they WANT a Republican bias in the poll, hoping to influence the vote a little because everyone likes to vote for the winner.

That's where you're wrong. I am not beholden to any political party. If I was, I'd have voted for Bush again this year.

lmao at the death throes of the liberals!
bwahahahaha.
this wont change anything😀
deal with the reality of W for another 4+ years 🙂

And so again I'll ask, if you're so sure, they should have no problem exposing possible fraud in vote counting, riiiiight?

I wonder if Kerry would even do it. If the only thing that changed was Ohio and Florida, enough so that Kerry gets the EV from both, then he still would have lost the popular vote by over 3 million, far more than Gore lost.

I cringe when I say this but if he did win, and fraud occured then no matter what margin he should be granted the position

But that scenario is a long way off.

I just wonder what that would do the country. I fear it would lead to rioting by right-wing extremists. It would most certainly cast a huge dark cloud over Kerry's presidency as being deemed illegitimate due to the popular vote difference. We'd also be hearing a huge outcry to abolish the Electoral College (which would be a huge mistake, imo).

I think it best to lie in the bed we've made and let the current Bush supporters see what a failure they've managed to re-elect.

Conjur, if they didn't get it the first time, what makes you think you'll see it this time? 🙂

As someone who refused to vote for Bush and Kerry, I'd love to see how all of this falls out. I hope they find corruption by both parties.

Always good to have a fallback position, that way you can say that the election was stolen & that Bush screwed up his second term

What fallback position? And, I never said Bush stole the 2000 election. Why would I say that? I voted for him.

This is good news. I had a gut feeling that this election would get a black eye from fraud, and I'm glad someone is doing something to uncover it.

Keep in mind now that you've asked for it, the numbers could come back against the party you voted for.

The true numbers have already shown that Kerry won. I could dig up links to proof if you REALLY care enough to see them.

Please do

Who would you want as president in these times - someone who could pull off an operation on this scale (if it's true), or someone who didn't even think about doing it?

Hmm...

And what are YOU afraid of with fighting voter fraud?

If Kerry had won, and the same allegations were made of voter fraud would you be so gung ho about investigation or would you say that the Bushies were FOS and didn't have a pot to pee in??

Personally I think it is a royal waste of time, and as Don Vito said to me about my impeachment statement re. Kerry, making a huge deal of this and possibly overturning the election would be disasterous for the country...

should they investigate? why the heck not....will it change the outcome? hopefully not.

I just don't think you guys would be bitching nearly as much (and I know the conservatives wouldn't be) had Kerry won....

This seems about as futile as those seeking succession to Canada.

Disasterous? Sure. But it would be awesome to see Bush exposed for what he really is.

And what could be more disasterous than Bush in office for another 4 years anyways?
If the president's party was found to be systematically disenfranchising voters through electronic voting fraud it's really hard to say what that would do to this country. Our country has been more polarized than ever since 9/11 and that news could be the spark that ignites an unstoppable fire. I could easily see riots that would make the Los Angeles riots look like Barbie and Ken's beach-side BBQ.

Ok - their website is down. What's this all about?

Is the 'proof' that Bush somehow engineered this?
