Bernie now calling out what I saying a few pages back:

Sanders called out Knight by name for the corrupting influence of his campaign cash. “Democracy is not billionaires — Phil Knight or anyone else — buying elections,” Sanders insisted.

It sure seems to be.

The way pundits are talking it seems the House will go to the Republicans and the Senate is a toss up.
I'm wondering, is it possible the hammer attack on Pelosi's husband will sway some votes to the Democrats? I mean, how can you vote for people who work up their electorate to rampage in the capitol and break into their opposition's homes with intent to murder? I mean absolutely no sarcasm here, I mean what I say.

Of course not. The right-wing batshit echo chambers have already labeled the whole thing as faked and a false flag.

If Roe doesnt do it for people, I hate to imagine what will. Cause. Damn.
Its the unlikely voter that is going to tip those close races and if the unlikely voter is not female and legion… Well then what we have here is capitalism finally imploding on itself… Thank you billionaires, for fucking up eeeeeeeeverything.

If western civilization is intend on blowing it self up, ill be “cant beat them eat them(tm)” sooner rather than later. I already have a seven course menu set up.

But that's a straight up LIE. Don't any R voters have a shred of sanity??????

I assume that’s a rhetorical question.
Not really. If you believe straight up lies you are insane. And my question didn't suggest all voters who would vote R need to vote D here to keep the House/Senate, just enough.

The ONLY good news I see is that the Republicans are doing even worse.

I really do think the Dems have screwed up royally with "messaging" focusing 90% on abortion and I'm pretty sure Nov 8th will be a disaster nationally. (hope to be mistaken)
Totally agree.

Hmm early voting results may not favour Dems. Florida breakdown so far are 42% registered R and 34% registered D. Live segment on TV. So no I don’t have a stupid link!!!

Early voting analysis is IMO useless, and Florida IMO is lost to the Democrats anyway. Either way, these elections will probably be decided by the so-called independents.

You need to provide context

in person early voting is R favored. But by voting mail returned, D's are outnumbering them, and as for mail-in ballot requests that have not been returned just yet, D's severely outnumber the R's.

I'm hoping Colorado is likewise lost to the Republicans. We'll see. 🤞

Lately, elections are decided less by independents than by turnout of the base. So, go vote!

No. Not in any meaningful way.

Political violence, although unevenly distributed lately, has still been a bipartisan phenomenon.

Who didn't move for J6 and murdered cops suddenly moves for the hammer attack?

Wow, if Roe and shit doesnt cut it for a blue wave then what will? Seams kinda fucked.
There are a lot of other issues too: immigration, inflation, law and order. Abortion ranks, IIRC, third or fourth in importance in most polls of what the issues are. Hell, the Dems should even have attacked the Reps on wanting to destroy SS and Medicare. They *will* come after both if they get both houses in the midterms. Hopefully, there will be enough Dems in the Senate to block new legislation, but who knows what they might do by executive order if Trump wins in 24.
