Isn't the outcome of the 2016 elections already clear?

Of course, the elected president of the US 2016 will be Hillary Clinton.

It's the only logical outcome.

* I like Bernie and his political agenda. But I can't see him as president of the US. IMHO, only a miracle could make it so that Bernie can 'beat' Hillary, something like an unprecedented voter-turn out by many young Bernie supporters or Hillary bitten in the a$$ by her email whatsoever scandal and flying out of the race. Hillary has TOO much power/wealth backing her, last but not least the media.

Bernie is the "nice guy", but he's too much an outsider, scaring some folks off, alright, he doesn't have the "dirty attitude" which IMHO is needed on the way to president. The US is not a nation where the position goes to the "nicest" and smartest guy. Simple fact, people.

* Trump? I don't believe that ANY Republican will be in office any time in the next decades. I can't even take them serious anymore. Trump won't be elected, no-one from the Reps will be elected.

This leaves us with Hillary. Easy as that.

She is already leading in numbers, she has the backing, the confidence etc. I don't like her, I don't trust her, she's phony, elitist etc. but I am just straight-forward here and say how it is. They could as well pack up all campaigns, save the money and just elect Hillary right now. You as well as I know that no-one else will become elected. Anyone thinking differently is illusionary.

So far what I see is that Bush is pretty much done. These latest attacks on 911 from Trump have finally buried Bushs chances. No way it's ever going to be Carson, probably Trump at this point, but maybe Rubio can pick it up if the base does a 180 and goes Establishment

Hillary is a lock on the Dems I think. So what we have for the general is Hillary vs Trump or Rubio, neither which I think can win it. So yeah, what can happen, but the doors are closing fast.

But don't forget the fail mary BENGAHZI¡!111 play. It could work...

Honestly the more republicans talk about Benghazi and e-mails the worse it makes them look and makes her looks like someone being attacked so it helps her goodwill image which is not that great.

I am not a Hillary fan and wish there were more running against her; but seems the republicans are doing everything they can do to make sure she is elected.
I really wish Huntsman was running again, but I think even he knows he does not say enough crazy stuff to get a republican nod. :(
And Rubio seems like he may end up at the top once the first primary's run looking at the current field and numbers.

I didn't watch the Dems' debate the other day, I don't get CNN. However, I read the aftermath in the papers.

That certainly came to mind after taking in the reaction. I looked at a picture of Hillary and said to myself, "that's your next president."

They could as well pack up all campaigns, save the money and just elect Hillary right now.

They won't pack it in and save their money, the GOP will get their licks in, spiel on and on, you bet, because they want/need all the exposure they can get for their ideas, their policies, whatever it is that they choose to push forward as a means of maintaining their sway. They have tons of sway, they control congress, they are the fist on the end of corporate America's arm whether they occupy the White House or not.

Sure thing. Well, as long as she doesn't have a heart attack or stroke over the next 13 months.
Or, she doesn't get indicted or given an offer she can't refuse.

If Biden gets in, it will be because he knows Hillary will be escorted out. I figure that's what he's waiting on, word from reliable sources. He'd certainly be in the loop for that.

But Sanders would be great. An impotent curmudgeon with no power to get anything done.

Anyway, this is little more than a troll thread.

Biden. I honestly think Biden will derail Hillary. People have had enough with family political dynasties. It was cute with the Kennedy family, but they want no more Clintons or Bushes in the White House.

Biden represents a viable alternative. May not be as electable over a conservative, but can take the nomination.

Wow dude. I know you have a hardon for hating Michael, but to have it cause you to stroke out and suffer total topic comprehension fail is pathetic.

I wasn't aware she had become president.

Must have missed that one in the news.

Bernie can promise all the freebies for the millennials he wants, but it won't help him beat Hillary. Sir gaffsalot (Biden) is the only chance the dems have of knocking her off of the ticket. Jeb's campaign is failing fast (good), but it's still too early to see who will survive in the rep camp.

My insanely early prediction is Rubio/Fiorina.

Look at the polling numbers that include Biden - he's in a distant 3rd. I think he's watching the poles and will only enter if there's a snowball's chance of winning. At this point, there doesn't appear to be. Perhaps it's for the party that he's staying out, allowing Hillary to remain at the top, rather than entering and perhaps, if she won the nomination, hurting her in the long run for the election.

It's too late for Biden. Even if he enters he'll buy it in the early states.

Hillary has spent a lot of time corralling all the donors, getting the DNC to back her, and building an extensive ground organization. There's too much momentum for him to stop her at this point.

Personally, if one were to check my post history, he'd find that what I've been saying year after year, is exactly what Bernie Sanders is now running on, almost verbatim.

That being said, every reality check I take on this race tells me Bernie doesn't have enough of what it takes to win, let alone lead as POTUS. I really wish he'd win if only for the reason that he'd send the rest of those assholes up on the Hill the same message that Hillary got from his running.

A large portion of the Dem voting bloc likes his message. I may even change my opinion over Bernie's chances if and when Bernie goes down south and west and does well with the minorities who tend to vote Dem or can be persuaded to.

But given the present situation with the race for POTUS, and if it doesn't change much going into next November, well, it's pretty obvious to me who fate has blessed in this particular race.

Isn't the 2016 Election Outcome Already Clear?

Oh, clear as day.

Jan 1st, 2016. Hillary Rodham Clinton is about to be sworn in. She has just steps out of her gold plated stage coach and sets foot on the ground (which is soaked in blood from assassinated American soldiers that were murdered by Liberals to honor their new leader), next to her hoof, there is a recently aborted fetus that has had it's brain, heart, brain, lungs, brain, kidney, brain, liver, brain and brain harvested. She picks it up and states; "What about it's soul?? Why haven't you harvested it's soul?!" She then throws it at a Climate 'Scientists' face and has him executed for not figuring out how to harvest a fetus' soul.

The Liberals then drag every Christian out of their prisons (because Hillary had ALL Christian imprisoned and executed before she was to be inaugurated) and they are beaten to death for not telling their government how to harvest souls.

The dead Christians are then placed on death row and executed. Followed by being killed again during torture and then executed once more.

Then, a man in rags walks up to the dead fetus. He picks it up and a tear falls from his face onto the fetus. The fetus regrows it's brain, heart, brain, lungs, brain, kidney, brain, liver, brain and brain. It grows to be 7 feet tall, muscular and powerful. The fetus says; "You tried to kill me Hillary Rodham Clinton. But, I have been made alive again and I will stop you."

The 7 foot tall Christian warrior then beats Hillary Rodham Clinton to death. The 7 foot tall Christian warrior then picks up all the Climate 'Scientists' and throws them into the sun; "Here is your global 'warming'" he said in a bellowing voice. The 7 foot tall Christian warrior then goes to Islam and converts all of the Muslims to Christianity. The 7 foot tall Christian warrior then goes to Cuba and makes them Captialists - like Obama should have done.

When the 7 foot tall Christian warrior returns to the newly liberated America, he walks up to the man in rags and says; "Thank you, for making me alive again." The man in rags takes off his hood and underneath it - it's Donald J Trump and Vladimir Putin. They had to hide from Hillary Rodham Clinton, because she was told by the devil they must be killed, since they hold the key to destroying her and all evil in the world.

Putin goes back to Russia to make it into a REAL Christian Capitalist country and Trump gets inaugurated on Jan 1st, 2016.

Folks, we are still over a year away.

In keeping with Americuh's traditions, it is inevitable that 1-2 front-runners will have a scandal come out that will explode.

Possible one's already is the email scandal, depending on what they uncover since they were able to recover her deleted emails. And while Trumps mouth is currently what's helping him... He opens it daily. Something INCREDIBLY stupid and/or racist will come out that will make him drop.

I tend to agree with the OP. Maybe not Hillary, but I can't see a republican winning. They are on the wrong side of many issues. Their bread and butter issues such as abortion (80% approve of abortion in some way), gay marriage (only 39% disapprove), and climate change (71% believe warming is happening).

Perhaps the Canadian election is a precursor to ours. People, I believe, are moving away from staunch conservative thinking and are becoming more open to progressive movements. People that are socially liberal are now tied with the number of socially conservative people of the first time since polling started.
