What happened in Kentucky is their clue. Their key to take it all come election day 2016.
Good luck with that thought. Local/state elections are easy, especially in a bible belt state like KY. National elections are far different. The only thing the reps changed since 2008 and 2012 elections are that they (the vocal ignorant among them) have further antagonized gays, modern women, Latinos and science in general. That is going to be a huge problem for them, even though most of them don't think that way. It's a lot like Muslims. Most of the worlds 1 billion+ Muslims are peaceful kind people. 10% (or whatever small amount) of them are exremist nutjobs that just cant exist in modern society. That vocal, violent minority makes all Muslims look bad... The normal "sane" majority NOT aggressively speaking out against them makes it much worse.
