Fox is going to make things look like an old time public lynching party was in progress if Donald really is being indicted.

edited for clarity

She's probably just waiting until Biden's address to the UN GA is over ...

And I predict it'll be a suit naming the Org, TFG, and dumb son Eric.

Not an indictment, but seems like one of the first truly large-scale legal actions against Trump. It's tackling fraud over the course of a decade, and would effectively kick the Trumps out of business in the state. Not counting on the DOJ referral leading to a criminal case, but what I'm hearing in the livestream suggests charges are plausible.

The main catch is that the Trump family will likely use the familiar delaying tactics: contest the evidence, appeal rulings, demand unrealistic terms. This isn't a lawsuit that will wrap up in a few months.

It's not criminal ... yet. But there was a huge nugget early on in her statement about the referrals to SDNY and IRS. That's probably the biggest problem in there when coupled with the CEOs plea dead with the Feds.

Not to mention the approximately $250 million they're seeking for damages (I think.)

Anyone know if this is the possible lawsuit that helped him decide to run for office, or is this yet another?

No doubt. I wonder how much any of this will matter in 2024 when President Trumpsantis waves it all away...and if the laws don't permit this, well those can be changed.

Though honestly if Desantis beats out Trump he might not be inclined to help him, it depends on how loyal the maga types are to the GOP or Trump (which right now is the same thing.). Trump might be a roach but he won't live forever.
