The building does exist, but someone could of CGed that pic.
I highly doubt it as tami and bmdoobiew take tons of pics around NYC and it's in his pics directory.

if you say it's real you should get your eyes checked?

That's a question?

Someone go take a picture of the exact scene to show them that it is real

I'd say real only for the reason of "who the hell would bother to model such a boring scene" 😛

I have an appointment tomorrow morning at a client on Broad. Maybe if it's as nice tomorrow as it was today, I'll sneak over for a stroll through Battery Park, then snap a pic of West St.

You can CG a real scene you know...

Looking down the road, looks like there is some texture filtering going on when you look at the angle. But that could be JPEG artifacts. That yellow line is "too clean" though, so I vote good CGI.

I give up some of you guys just read too much into things. There is cracks in the white paint. There is random stuff under the bushes. The scene doesn't even make sense to render....BAH!

Its real. It even *looks* like it was shot with a digital camera. You can see chips in the paint in the yellow line.

Besides, the best proof of all, is that there is no reason, anyone, would ever, ever choose that as a subject to CG.

Hell even IMG-0409 is the filename, which basically tells me its the 409th pic on the CF card. 😛
