That is COMPLETELY absurd. 10-15 over is the norm on the interstate in many areas, even 90 in a 70 is pretty common in the three large metro areas I've lived in. (of which Baltimore was one)

Generally when somebody deems a situation is important enough for a lawyer, they like to get a good one. Listen I saw the ticket it was exactly 77 in a 55(so 22 for you simple minded people) In Virginia that is reckless driving. ?As stated clearly in the Code of Virginia, the penalty parameters for reckless driving is up to one year in jail, and/or up to $2,500 in fines. Virginia reckless driving also carries the possibility of a suspension of driving privileges for up to 6 months.? Link It says it right here why is the truth so hard to believe. That?s what I said but by the time it was appealed he would be out and that would mean more money and who knows what the verdict would be. Besides he was speeding so it probably would stay on his record and they can?t give back the 8 days. I guess the only benefit would be to try and get an investigation into the judge?s actions
