All I can say is California is definitely the WORST in the country and then probably Texas.

Really thats not true, but people from those states like to think they are better than all of us so I don't like them :p

once you eliminate the west coast and all of the red states, everything left is kick ass.

cali is going to win because that is where the most members are from. I don't even have to look. ca, tx, ny, nj then probably some state that is actually cool like hi or ak.

Says who? I've been to all 50, and lived in 8 of them.

woah woah woah... You can't go off killing the Heartland of America! Without us, you won't receive a lot of packages on time and cargo will have to be routed elsewhere. Northwest Ohio alone is a MAJOR hub for international cargo, auto equipment, national parcel delivery. The western half of the state is also important farmland.
we're a moderate-red state, I'd say. Internally, the cities often vote blue for city and state leadership but vote red in presidential elections. A lot of the people truly are moderate, with a step in both the blue and red for certain issues, and statewide issues here are very unlike the national level issues and it shows in our voting. ;)

North Dakota may be a very conservative red state, but that doesn't stop us from having Democrats elected to the house and senate!

It's no surprise that the states with the highest populations are winning, even though at least one of them sucks to high heaven (hint: it rhymes with shmexas).

Each kicks ass it its own unique way. For instance New Jersey is #1 in toxic waste and needing to pull to the right to make a left hand turn.

Omg stop bashing my state lol

We have great sushi :) Something KENTUCKY or INDIANA certainly do not have :p

We has sushi in Kentucky. And we make Bourbon. And the land is gorgeous, and we have great music.

I still can't understand why anyone would live anywhere but in Northern California.

I love living in socal. The weather is always nice (although it's been a little nippy, mostly in the low 60's for like a month!) and I love surfing, so living anywhere else but hawaii is out.

Hey, I didn't vote for Nebraska ;)
Too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.

Louisiana FTW!

All other states look up to it.

please, LA really needs to be annexed into mexico. i think i might hate LA more than CA, the dumbest people in the world (almost) reside in NO

So what IS it like to live in a crazy make believeromanceyourcousin kind of place? :)

Well, the food is good!

LA is not horrible, I think Mississippi is worse overall. I am glad to say that I dont live there anymore, and the only reason I visit is because of work and to see my friends/family.

I live in Texas now, which is a way better state.

born and mostly raised in Louisiana. It rules because of:

1. Cajun Cuisine
2. Creole Cuisine
3. Mardi Gras
4. Been getting a lapdance from Mississippi since 1817 (thanks Conan)

Other than that, it's a shithole...

Hawaii by far. I've done a lot of traveling throughout my life (40 or so states) and Hawaii is amazing. Hands down.

I noticed you didn't mention Illinois in that list.:p

Have you ever lived in CA? I'm from upstate NY, I born and raised there in fact, and I resided there until I was 22 when I was given the opportunity to move to California. That was 18 years ago. I love it here and I can't see living anywhere else quite frankly. There are a TON of good people here regardless of what middle earth...er I mean America might think.

I've been to many different states and many different cities in this country and even though my family is scattered up and down the east coast I still  California. This is home.

Oh, and I'd like to point out that CA is winning. 47 residents, so far, can't be wrong!!! :p

I'd say Washington state, but the people here really suck. State has a lot to offer as far as nature goes, though, a good variety.
