Can't vote - insufficient information. I've been in the following states:

- Pennsylvania (live there)
- Rhode Island - drove through it twice.
- Connecticut - drove through it twice. (the interstate is in excellent condition there)
- Massachusetts - drive there twice
- New York - been there a few times. Nothing noteworthy.
- Washington - been there once.
- Colorado - been there once, as a toddler
- New Jersey - went to Ocean City a few times on vacation with family. Also unremarkable.

My stints outside of PA have been brief, so I can't really comment on the relative ass-kickery levels present.

Mississippi is either last or near last in every conceivable educational, public health, or economic category. Plus there is absolutely no reason anyone would want to visit there. It absolutely deserves to be looked down upon by every other state. Florida also sucks for being muggy and miserable, having huge gross bugs, and everyone who lives there being an idiot.

I disagree with you including South Dakota and Montana. SD at least has Sturgis and Mt Rushmore. And while eastern Montana might suck, western is quite awesome.

Hawaii has lava, great beaches, and consistently awesome weather. Other than high cost of living (even that's only on Oahu and Maui), I can't think of anything bad about it.

It used to be the third largest nuclear power in the world. I think a lot of them have been moved since.

You could make an argument for California, Hawaii, Texas, and Alaska all for different reasons.

California is the armpit of the country.
Could be worse, could be like Washington which is the taint of the country

Washington State has a pretty formidable fleet of nuclear subs and ~1800 nuclear warhead missles. I'd give them no less than top 3.

As far as worthless states, I'm sure we could do without large swaths of the mid-west.

Californian Christians are less far threatening than those from Kansas. But Utah does have some beautiful landscape, I'll give it that.
