Good to hear. I'm feeling out of place amongst these weirdos who say 'I'll have a POP!' or 'Give me a Sprite-flavoured Coke!'

I thought soft drink was a British thing, why are there a few of you (but hardly any) in America and Canada who say it?

when have you ever bought a soda or pop from a coke machine?

so what do people call coke machines? soda machines or pop machines?

I say soda and I'm in Alabama but I'm from California. People around here tend to use 'Coke' as the generic term.

Here in Manitoba it can be both. "Do you want a soda" and "Do you want a pop" mean the same thing. "Do you want a coke" means coca-cola usually, but some ppl use it to mean pepsi, or other cola type drinks as well.
