Console RPGs aren't my thing. I liked the old FF series, and I like computer RPGs and pencil-paper RPGs, but I haven't seen one that interests me on the consoles in quite a while.

Three points:
1) Just as soon as the dumbass GC owners realize that there is a cubic assload of games from third parties for the GC that are actually good.

I read on IGN that the GC version of Soul Calibur II actually outsold the Xbox and PS2 versions.

I have a Gamecube and I like it a lot, but I don't have a lot of time to play games so the good titles they do have are more than enough to keep me occupied. They had a good showing at E3 this year, looks like there will be plenty of good games in the future as well.

I'm curious how many copies it would have sold if Link wasn't the special character.

more likely its the lack of other options that led to more gc peeps buying that game.

This is a silly thing to fight about, I like my GC, I enjoy playing my games over and over on it, I suppose that's why I like it so much. I live in a house full of gamers and we've got basically every system here and I still find more enjoyment from playing Smash Bros Melee with wavebirds and 3 friends.
