Console RPGs aren't my thing. I liked the old FF series, and I like computer RPGs and pencil-paper RPGs, but I haven't seen one that interests me on the consoles in quite a while.Originally posted by: skace
Would you like to list some good games in contrast to these clearly subpar rpgs for PS2 (the undisputed king of rpgs)? Perhaps you could list some really awesome RPGs that came out for Xbox or GC?

I read on IGN that the GC version of Soul Calibur II actually outsold the Xbox and PS2 versions.Originally posted by: KnightBreed

my big problem with Nintendo is their reliance on franchises... I mean, how long are Mario, Zelda, and Metroid going to account for 95% of their game sales?
1) Just as soon as the dumbass GC owners realize that there is a cubic assload of games from third parties for the GC that are actually good.
I have a Gamecube and I like it a lot, but I don't have a lot of time to play games so the good titles they do have are more than enough to keep me occupied. They had a good showing at E3 this year, looks like there will be plenty of good games in the future as well.

I have all three consoles. The XBOX and PS2 are hooked up, and played on a semi-regular basis. The Gamecube sits in a closet.
You must play a lot of single player games and be very lonely
