The door holding thing is minor. The main thing I think Americans have against Asians is how Asians chew with their mouth open. In Asian culture it's proper to slurp noodles, chew with your mouth open, and eat a lot, all to complement the cook on his/her delicious cookings. In Western cultures all those are impolite.

Um Fvck no. Maybe just eating a lot, or finishing all you were given. But that's same as here in America.

Chewing with mouths open? Which part of Asia are You from? Or are you an ignorant pseudo intellectual American?
China, South & SE Asia -- It is acceptable to chew with mouth open & talk with mouth full (not sure with Japan/Korea), however younger people have to finish the food in their mouth first before they talk to elder.

In Asia it is polite to hold door as here in America, however that trend may have changed due to over crowded population & large cities (people fight to get on train/bus).

Crowded trains

That's a bit different than purposely slurping and chewing loud as compliments to the cook.

I'm not the one that asked the question that angered you. Direct your teen angst at someone else.

When you get older, seeing all these angry people will make you laugh. So misguided.

Idiot. Yes, you judge my character based on a sarcasm post? You're even more stupider than I thought. Why don't you go back into the hole like I told you so, instead of being an annoying pissant to people minding their own business? This is your second time you initiated uncalled offensive posts, kiddo.

Watch it troll.

It's closer to a laugh track button than a hot button. I love arguing with people that are well below my level. It's like fighting a pansy- the harder you try, the worse you look. The amusement factor alone justifies fighting for the sport of it.

I'm very curious to know if it is asians in general that act like this, or if it is just the foreign students who come here from other countries and maybe don't practice such courtesies for others because they arent aware they exist here.

We do it because we know it just makes you urk. :p

My warning? You're in no position to give me any type of warning, especially since you started this little spat with your angered responses towards other members.

You're a little kid who got defensive when I made a post that wasn't even attacking you. Aggression is the typical response of the weak-minded.

When I'm on campus, I notice that most Asian students are always in a hurry. It is very unusual for me to see them walking, always "speed walking" if not jogging or running. The expression on their face looks like they are late for something. I've never been able to figure out what the hell is going on.

hhahahaha. You quoted me to your MY SIG? HAHAHAHAHAHAA

Desperate for attention are we? Should I give you more warning? Maybe that might make up for the lack of hug your mom gave you.

[edit]

Man oh man, what are you gonna do now? You can't take off the sig, then you'll look stupid after being ridiculed, you can't keep it either because that's is plain stupid, as you've proved it yourself already.

Man, I hear ya. You post whatever the hell you want. hahahaha. It's ok. I understand now. I don't even care anymore. :) Gimme more of your tried-and-true, 'in a higher level than you' approach.

I'll listen. :)

I don't want you to listen- I want you to keep talking, since that's doing all the work for me.

Your material is getting weak! Is that all you got? Still sticking to the 'higher level' routine? Predictable. :)

Keep at it. :D

lol, if I was on "horse steroids", I wouldn't be only 185 lbs. But thanks for the compliment.

It feels good knowing that I've worked out to the point that people suspect that I use drugs, all the while enjoying the health benefits of staying clean.

In addition, had you been able to achieve a similar build, you wouldn't have those suspicions. So we know that somebody's a weakling ;)

It feels good knowing you take insults SERIOUSLY and get your panty all defensive, denying steriod use and 'enjoying the health benefits of staying clean.'

WTF are you? A 80s commercial? This kid continues to amazes me.
